Most of the sites in this park are occupied by seasonal campers who have landscaped their sites according to their own preferences. Some are quite attractive. Their is a nearby pond with a dock for kayaks or canoes, but the access is down a steep hill. It would be a long hard climb with a boat. The campground is very close to tidal bore rafting on the Shubencadie River. When we were here, the available water was not considered potable. There were no apparent plans to have it tested although the manager said it was OK to use for washing or flushing. We did not hook up to it because we were afraid of contaminating our system. The campground does not have a telephone, but takes Internet reservations. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
