Stayed for 2 nights in a 26' travel trailer connected to full hookups. Felt corralled within this fenced in oval shaped parking lot type campground. No trees at all. Close access to beach. Weather was terrible while here, so that did not help. A small trailer was the office. Co-op for groceries was close by but closed at 6 then next nearest area was 15-20 min away in Mabou. For the high price for this bare minimum campground, felt pay showers ($1 for 5 min.) was unnecessary. Would stay elsewhere next time. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Over half the sites (44) were seasonal, so we were lucky to get one without a reservation. The main campground has mostly seasonals. The annex over near the pool is for the overnighters. We were in the annex and all sites were gravel or grass back-ins. Our site required leveling due to upslope in the rear. No privacy at all and some noise from the road. All hookups worked fine. No cable TV, but found 2 channels with one in English. Wi-Fi worked well enough for Skype phone calls. The pool is an extra charge. There are two beaches nearby. Plenty of kids around so the noise level can be loud at times. We probably would not stay here again as we prefer quieter campgrounds. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Fabulous location earns this park a 9 because you can walk to the sand beach and there is a jetty. Sun sets directly on the water. Showers cost $1 which seems high with a $40 rate however the showers are clean and large. Wi-Fi is very good with a nearly full park. This would be a nice location for families with children because the water is shallow with no waves. We would stay here again because the location is convenient and beautiful even though the park itself is not a beauty spot, the beach is very nice. There is a swimming pool across the road but we did not use it. We camped here in a Motorhome.
