Quiet. Half of sites have trees overhead, the other half are in the open for the sun worshipers. If you want to see the tidal bores, this is the place. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is the first campground in 2 years of full timing that we could not get into the space assigned to us. The roads are narrow, the cars parked in the sites do not allow you to swing wide enough to clear the trees. The trees are not trimmed in the narrow sites so they scrape on the side of your coach. We had to leave and find another campground. NOT BIG RIG FRIENDLY. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Clean older bathrooms, fast free Wi-Fi at site. A little road noise. Showers are 25 cents for five minutes and were hot and powerful. There's also a sauna but the door was locked. We camped here in a Motorhome.
WIFI is available, except when you really want to use it, seems to be down alot. Water pressure is not the greatest at times, had to use trailer pump a few times in order to have a shower. If you want to take advantage of the 7th. night free, make sure you ask when you check in. We paid for 4 nights then decided to stay for 4 more and were told the free night only applies when you pay for the week in full when you first register. When we called to book, we indicated 4 nights for sure, possibly longer. Staff should indicate in this phone conversation that the 7th night is only free if you book and pay for the entire week at that time. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This cg is not the easiest to find and involves a drive through a congested light industrial neighborhood. However, once you get there, you find an attractive and restful facility. We found wide, level, shaded sites; extremely clean washrooms; an attractive pool; reasonably dependable wi-fi and an excellent cable TV system. There's an abundance of seasonal or permanent guests, obviously involving a lot of kids; yet, the cg was amazingly quiet. The campground store is very sparsely furnished. We stayed only overnight but would easily recommend it for that purpose. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice clean campground for a stop over or to visit sites in the area. Some Side by side hookups, 50 amp service and cable tv. Some sites not satellite friendly because of trees. Very friendly on check in. Would stay there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
The campground had a very nice view of the ocean but that is one of the few positives I can report. Help at check-in was ok but the young lady did not really have a good feel for the available sites. The majority of sites were seasonal and gave a trailer park look to the place. Full wooden decks, extra refrigerators outside, clotheslines, etc, etc... There is not one level site that has any type of hook up. My biggest concern was the extremely low voltage (consistantly under 100v). The "Sandy Beach" is a stretch. Yes it sits on the water but except for a little sandy stretch on land, the water was a bed of stones, rocks and boulders. Too many barking dogs added to a less than satisfying stay.
