This campground needs a lot of clean up. A lot of seasonal's with dumpy looking trailers and junk scattered around them. The campground staff seemed friendly. However, the camp office/store was run down and needed a good cleaning. We had a difficult time getting level in the site that we were assigned. We only used this park for an overnight stop over. For that purpose it was OK. With some elbow grease and some discipline, this might have the potential to be a nice campground, but it would take a lot of work. We will try to avoid this park when traveling through the area in the future. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I gave this campground a 5 because of the location and the friendliness of the people. The place is a great home for snowbirds who seem to make up the majority of the campers. The people behind us, in a big fifth wheel were lovely and from FL. The tent campers next to them were a nightmare and had no clue about quiet time. The police were called on them the second night for a domestic dispute. The fifth wheel next to us had a spotlight shining on us and they people were never there so we could not ask them to turn it off. Also, we had a classic car camper on the other side that washed the car many times through the weekend and decided to take off at 7:00 AM Sunday, yelling to his friend and revving his engine the whole time they broke down. Now for the grounds themselves. There are many old trailers that need cleaned up, but that really doesn't bother me. However, this place is far from tent camper friendly. They have pay showers and no electric outlets in the bathrooms. Their idea of a "lake" was a big green "cement pond". My children waded in and ran out stating that there was goo in it. The DJ at the barn is fun and ends at a reasonable time. I found the staff to be very nice and friendly as were the other campers. The best part is the location. Very close to the southern suburbs of Cleveland. 15 minutes to anywhere. Overall, this is a great place to crash for the night, but not too much more. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

If you've ever wondered what a FEMA disaster relief trailer camp looked like, visit this park (although I think FEMA would be more organized). A huge area of ramshackle trailers, with add-on sheds, beer sports team signs, plastic palm trees.....you get the picture. We were greeted by a rude individual in a cigarette smoke office and it went downhill from there. There are no sewer hookups, but the dump station is easily located by even a poor sense of smell. Make sure you wear gloves and a hazmat suit if you have one. Even with two whole-house filters, the water looked like iced tea and was undrinkable. The only positives were that the 30A power didn't fail and that we were able to leave early, even without a refund. This place makes a Flying J parking lot look sophisticated. We camped here in a Motorhome.
