We had a great visit, the selection and amenities were a little off but the purpose was served, I was there working. We would go back again. Thanks you guys. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a delightful park, a true surprise as it is a county park. The campground is heavily wooded, and the sites 127-145 are the nicest, with 145 the best. Some are too unlevel for a large motorhome, so check first. Park Rangers patrol the park, so you feel safe. In close walking distance is an 85 acre great fishing lake, with many nice fishing boats, pedal boats of all kinds, bicycles of different types, and 2 pontoon boats. These are very nice well maintained boats (except the pontoons).The harbor area is first rate, with a delightful children's water park (fee), a very nice playground that is padded, a nature center, very nice snack bar, and 7 miles of paved walking/biking paths. It is a fabulous place for kids, although we are retirees, the amount of children wasn't a problem. We will definitely come here again. The only reason I didn't rate it a 10 is because there is only electric, no water or sewer at the site, but there is a dump station and available potable water. We camped here in a Motorhome.
