Stayed here 2 night in Aug.2004 in a 40' Motorhome. Family weekend at King's Island so also had a large tent on our site. Had one of the lower number sites with nice large shade tree that almost didn't allow us to open awning. Site was level but made of gravel. Tram service from park office to King's Island Park enterance ran every 15 min. Fire pit hadn't been cleaned of ashes but we had no problem using it. Restrooms were OK could have been a little cleaner but only used it at the end of one day. All & All not that bad for a couple of night. Not a lot to do if your not going to King's Island but paly round ball at night unil they turn the light out!! We camped here in a Motorhome.

The site had broken bottles and a fire pit full of rotting trash when we arrived. The restrooms were in the most horrific state of any we have seen in over 30 years of RV'ing. Mold growing across the ceiling on 4-5 foot stretches, broken doors and fixtures, filth and residue in the showers. Absolutely awful. We camped here in a Motorhome.

It took me a while to figure out why this campground was as poor as it was, but I finally did it-it's sole purpose is to get people to go to King's Island Amusement Park. There is nothing to do in the CG. The swingsets are in terrible shape leftover from the 70's and there was no other visible recreation available save for a small video arcade. The showers/restrooms were atrocious but the staff was OK. There is a shuttle which runs about every 15 minutes that will take you to the park. This would be OK for a 1 night stopover but that is about it. Shade sites are at a premium. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
