A lot of seasonal campers, mostly families from the area. Lots of kids and pets, very friendly, a well stocked store. A lot of organized activities during the season, the Saturday we were here was their annual Pig Roast. A great pork Bar-B-Que for $3.50 each! Supposed to bring two sides or dessert, but we got a pass since we had just pulled in. Great meal with wonderful desserts! Campground is older and around a lake, a bit tight, but our 60' HDT and fiver fit in a "pull-thru", in quotes since the trees prevented pulling out, had to back it out of site. No sewer hook-up, dump station. A bit away from interstates, but not far off US 30. Additional $2.50 a day charge for AC. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We really liked this campground. The owners were visible and friendly, very involved with activities they hold. Probably about 60% seasonals, everyone was very friendly. A nice variety of campsites (waterfront, pull through, etc.) The one drawback was the plastic tiling factory across the road, the forklifts outside there were working non-stop during one Saturday overnight with their noisy backup beepers. Hopefully that doesn't occur every weekend. We intend to return for 2010 though. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Lots of activities in the campground, nice friendly owners go out of their way to put on events, breakfasts, and cookouts as well as games and dances. This campground is always immaculate looking everywhere. Restrooms, rec hall, showers, and both pools are white glove spotless clean. Atmosphere is very relaxed and quiet with many seasonal campers here too. Kids love this place ! We camped here in a Motorhome.
