We stayed here in a brand new Bounder. Staff was very nice. Campers were very friendly. Fantastic fenced double dog run. Lovely setting. Shaded spots. Some traffic noise but we didn't hear it inside our RV. We camped here in a Motorhome.

An older campground that is small and plain, but is a really pretty setting. Campsites are gravel and/or grass and larger than most campgrounds we've been to. It's nothing fancy but we will go back. People are friendly and camping and fishing are relaxing. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is truly a dump. Interior roads are gravel and full of pot holes making them unsafe for driving. Broken down motorhomes everywhere. The office is on top of a hill very difficult walk. Once there your met by a pit bull. The whole place is very scary looking. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very clean and wide open camp sites. The sites are all paved, back-end pads. Rate is Passport, internet price. Would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Some sites really are close to the lake. The place is kept beautifully. There are hosts, but not sure what they do. The office was not open at all during the 2 days that we stayed. You are on your own, but not bad as you may pay with cash, check, or credit card. It's a huge park with an abundance of grass. Ohio parks are members of Passport America during the week, so it is a real bargain for 30 amp power for 1/2 of $26. Ohio advertises that there is a 35 foot limit, but when we called we were told at 38 feet there would be no problem. Since there were plenty of sites open, no problem, but it might be on a busy weekend. We would definitely return to this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is one of three OH state parks that I have stayed in, and all are about the same. The sites are big and spaced far apart. The landscaping is well done. The electric box is in need of updating but power is reliable. As has happened in other OH state parks they close the restrooms around November 2nd with no notice or warning. All water in the loops is turned off in October. The only fresh water is at the dump station 1/2 mile away, but you have to drive around checking the water faucets to find that out because there is no one here to ask. The restrooms when they were open, were dirty and in need of repair. The only time I saw any employee go in with a broom, they came back out in less than 2 minutes. I know that the states are hard pressed to fund the parks, but if you are going to keep them open you should take care of them. We camped here in a Motorhome.

While this campground is convenient to the air force museum, I would not recommend it. It had very tight turns for a 36' motorhome. It was full of unoccupied junky old trailers and located right beside two freeways and the train tracks. Internet only in laundry room. Too expensive. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Oh my gosh!! Wish I had read the other reviews before we pulled in. The place is in dire need of some TLC. I'm rating it a 3 because the staff was very nice: otherwise I'd give it a 1. The roadways in the park are NOT user friendly for big rigs. Trees at the sites need to be trimmed. We had to move because the site we were first in had cedar trees on both sides and we were unable to get our LR slides out. We asked to move and although the staff was very accommodating, she moved us to a site with similar tree issues. The second site was supposed to be a "pull through" but they had only paved half of it. When we went to leave, we had to drive over part of the playground (which appeared to be part of the site in the first place.). Water pressure was very low. Other reviews mentioned power surges, but with a surge protector, we were ok. Lots of old broken down dumpy trailers, some covered in so much dirt/slime and mold, you really couldn't make out the manufacturer. They appear to have been here for quite some time. The "lake" was more of a pond. Didn't see anyone swimming, nor would I go in there as there were close to 35 geese swimming, walking and "doing their business" on the road and beach. Didn't need to worry about people not picking up after their pets, as goose droppings were everywhere! Trains about 100 yards away and yes, blew the whistle as it passed the park (due to the train crossing about 75 feet from the entrance of the park.). Didn't go out after dark as I didn't feel too safe. Seemed more like a rundown trailer park instead of an RV park. Definitely will not stay here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. Felt it was very overpriced ($35) for the area, sites, amenities, narrow roads and current clientele. This park is not NOT big rig friendly. Grass needs serious cutting! Park does not take credit cards either. I'd recommend a Wal-Mart parking lot first. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was our first campground in the U.S. It was mid-November and quite cold, going below freezing sometimes at night. We were there six nights. Most campgrounds were closed. There were a number of permanent residents, almost all in rundown RVs and trailers. There were a few regular RV customers. The showers were not heated, and very run down. Water, sewer, and electricity were OK. Wi-Fi was only accessible in the games room. One night there was a birthday party, and another night people under the influence in the games room. We used the Wi-Fi at the library in town. The park would present better in the summer, when I expect there would be families camping, and the unheated showers less of an issue. We would not stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Beautiful view of lakes. Good fishing. Gravel road. Full hookups. Few cement pads, rest are grass. Good satellite and Verizon coverage. Country location so no highway noise. Very peaceful. Gave it a seven because there's no shower house or laundry facilities. Staying for a month. Will definitely return. Monthly rates available. We camped here in a Motorhome.
