This is a great little campground located right along the Ohio river. From each site, a view of the river. Great electric and water hook-ups. It also has a boat ramp down to the river. The most difficult part of the campground is finding it. If coming from the west, it is just after passing the Sandy Springs rest area, there is a sign at the entrance to the park. Good idea to ask staff when making the reservation for exact address or GPS location. Well worth the stay, we would return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Rate reflects 50% Passport America discount. A nice small park, a few permanent rigs, and some seasonal, but nice long pull throughs available for transients. Water and electric only with a dump station. Open sky good for satellite reception. Park is right on the Ohio River. Very peaceful and quiet during the week, only the occasional low thrum of a tow boat on the river during the night - along with the obligatory train horn in the distance. A bit off the beaten path, about 90 miles east of Cincinnati. Have everything you need on board as we did not see anyplace to eat within 20 miles in either direction on US 52. When going from VA to Chi we usually go I-64 to I-75 in KY. We have not had good luck with campgrounds on that route, so we decided to try US 52 through southern Ohio. Turned out to be a good choice. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
