Very clean considering it is a city owned lake and campground. There are three campgrounds areas A, B & C. We have stayed at area C several times. Driven thru areas A & C. The lake is patroled by city officers who are assigned the lake as their district. Very polite but are capable of putting problems to rest quickly. Swimming in lake, fishing and boating. Horse and hiking trails. Two pavolians in area C. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed there this summer, really a nice clean park. There are 3 camping areas. #a,#b,and#c., each have nice shady areas, all tenters have their own area in each camping area. A swimming beach is located in area #c., the bathhouses are clean, area #c has two pavilions available, also play areas. The sites are gravel and are level, each site has a picnic table, water, bbq pit and electric. The entire lake area is patrolled by friendly city officers 24 hours a day. We will return several more times next year. We camped here in a camper.
We have the Passport America discount so it is $10 a night. There used to be a pool, but it is in disrepair. This is also a mobile home park, and the mobile home residents mostly do not obey the 10mph signs. This stirs up quite a bit of red dust. That's my worst complaint. The owner's and manager are all nice people. I do think that $1 a day per device for wi-fi is a little steep since I am used to getting it free at other parks. I would recommend this as a pleasant little park on route 66. It is quiet here. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a really small campground but is easily reached through the old Route 66. The manager was nice and we could get wifi for a dollar that's included in the $11 price we mentioned. That's the price with Passport discount. Sites were not really level but you can get some shade. The restrooms were not that great looking so you might want to be self contained when you come there. For an overnight we would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The owner very obliging and helpful. A good site with a Walmart just down the road where the staff were very helpful. We stayed one night but would consider longer if needed. It made for restful nights stay and acceptable cost. We would recommend it. (800) 521-6681 We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice quite campground on Historic Route 66. This is a great spot for the night. A new Super Wal-Mart just opened 1/2 mile to the west. We've stayed here several times and always take in the movie at old show in Chandler - $4 and snacks are a lot more reasonable than what we've seen elsewhere. The owner is very friendly and eager to please. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We parked here overnight in a 50 amp pull-through space. It was one of the few that were paved with concrete. You have to drive a few miles on old Route 66 highway to get here off I-44, but it was a scenic drive and far enough away from the interstate to get some peace and quiet. Nothing much else around for diversion or recreation. Several long term campers here. Grounds were mowed and clean. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This campground has all the basics. Their washroom was older but clean. They are doing upgrades and adding more washrooms. Nice, quiet campground. The price was right - Passport America - $9 for 50 amp! We only stayed overnight so I didn't get around the park to see too much. We would stay here again but there's not much around Chandler. There's a WalMart about a mile away but not a SuperWalMart. No specific dog walk area but lots of places to walk. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
