We came here with high expectations. We were meeting an old friend we hadn't seen in years. We were sold a "Full hook-up" site. We were told that there was 50 amp electric which we were looking for. The road leading to the campsite was VERY narrow. The trees were hanging out over all of the roads, scratching my motorhome. We got to the site which was very long, but was unlevel on both ends. The water did not work. We were told to just "Y" in with the people next door. (They were not home and we felt very reluctant to go messing around their rig). We were later told by our neighbors that it had NOT been working for a long time. There was a 50 amp pedestal, but it did not work. We plugged into the 30 amp box which seemed to have a weak breaker. The park was very quiet, the lake was pretty, we had a good visit with our old friends, but we had a very bad taste in our mouths about the campground. I felt that it was not well maintained and was over priced. If there had been a close alternative, I would have moved. I will not be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Super quiet, paved pads, lots of trees, only 30 amp hookups, but they are installing 50 amp hookups everywhere as I type, you have to move to a new site every 14 days, stay 6 nights get one night free, daily trash pickup, no laundry, fire pit rings, have really enjoyed our stay at this lake. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Our rate reflects the community water and electric hook up sites. We were there Spring Break week, and the full hook up sites were reserved. There is a lot of room between sites, fire pits, bbqs and picnic tables at each site. There is a large playground with the usual playground equipment. It was in very good shape. Teh kids loved playing here with the other kids on spring break. This seems to be a very popular park for the locals for good reason. It is very close to "Pops" on Route 66 in the town of Arcadia, just a few miles East. Pops is a burger joint, convenience store, gas/diesel station that has the largest collection of bottled soda pop for sale that we've ever seen. There are hundreds of different brands of soda, sodas of every imaginable flavor. Food was good and the ice cream sundaes were delicious. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
