Stayed one night enroute to Branson Mo. Ok place to overnight, although noisy from interstate close by. We checked in late and left early so did not meet manager, only by cell phone. We will return for overnight again We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Some concrete pads are too short, water & electric are shared between sites so some must run cord & hose under the RV, it was noisy some evenings due to loud music from the amusement park next door, we were able to connect to free WIFI from a nearby motel, campground was under new management, nothing fancy but ok, easy access from I-35, we stayed a week, and might stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here a couple of years ago and were not terribly impressed, but the campground has
apparently changed hands and the new owners have cleaned it up and are attempting to plant trees and shrubs. This campground is located off a service road for I-35 and you get a lot of traffic noise day and night. It is a decent place to stay for a one or two night stopover, but probably not longer than that. I'm not sure how many of the 200 spaces they advertise are actually available, because there are a lot of permanent trailers in the back of the campground. It is located about two minutes from Frontier City Theme Park, a Waffle House, Love's, and Sonic-all right there on the service road. The lower rating is due to the noise. We would stay here again because of the location. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Whether you are just passing through or you are spending some time in Oklahoma City, this is a very good place to stay. It is close to I-40 so there is some road noise at all times but it is far enough away that the noise is not too intrusive. Their Wi-Fi works good and it is free. The campground is only a few minutes drive from downtown. If you like to ride your bikes or walk there is a river path that starts at Meridian Road, a couple of exits to the East, and goes all the way to the downtown area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Based on my criteria, this place is a 9. It's close to the interstate, but far enough away so the traffic noise isn't a problem. Good, free wi-fi is available. There are plenty of sites where one can use a rooftop satellite dish. Sites are level (gravel though, and this is why I didn't give them a 10). Very friendly management. Good maintenance. Pleasant enough surroundings and the units belonging to permanents seem to be well-maintained indicating a caring management intent on providing a nice setting for us overnighters. Easy access to DT OKC and WalMart, Home Depot, Camping World, and lots of dining options are within a 2 mile radius. I am grateful that they don't have a ton of other amenities that I wouldn't use (pool, clubhouse, playground) as it keeps the rates very reasonable. I pass through OKC often, and this is where I'll stay from now on. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We're from South Texas; Pearsall, to be exact,stayed across the street at another park and moved to this park. We really liked this park better, the park is secure with personnel around the park making sure everything is OK. I personally loved the idea of the storm shelter, if you know anything about tornado alley, this is essential for a safe stay. We had two storms while there, and the third storm the sirens and lights went off, luckily for us the tornado jumped us and hit right north of the city. Really nice people there, made us feel really comfortable. Thank you Sam. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

A decent park, just on edge of town with quick access downtown. Easy access and only a half mile off I-40, but no noise at our site. Large sites with very little going on in the park. Great for a shorter-term stay. Wi-Fi works great! Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed there for one night. It is only a couple of minutes from Camping World and on I-40. Campground was very clean, everything worked fine including wi-fi. An excellent basic park. Parking surface is grass. No pool, no clubhouse, no golf course. On the plus side, it's clean, the folks that run it are nice, the bathrooms and laundry are good. Huge pet walking area. And it's close to downtown while still being out a ways. I would definitely stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Extremely friendly staff, very knowledgeable for the areas interest to visit. Knows where all the best local restaurants are. WiFi was mostly strong. Spaces are wide and comfortable. The owners are fairly new and have great plans for the RV Park. If you are ever in the area stop by. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice campground in the woods. During one of the nights there were severe storms, and they were really wonderful at keeping you up to date if there was a problem. We were also told if there was a problem during the night, they will come to your RV and notify you. This was great. the campground was as nice as the people that run it. We arrived late, after the office closed, and had one heck of a time finding our site -- nothing is marked on the roads or directional signs indicating site areas, and at least where our site was located (#C6), it is pitch dark with no lights. You can not see the site numbers until you are right on top of it. We were not the only ones who had difficulty -- the husband had to help another rig who had also taken the incorrect direction, a 40' + towed, back-up, etc., so they could find their site. Now the husband tells me there was a note on the reservation envelope saying, "it might be a good idea to locate your site on foot before driving to it." Good advice; however, this still leaves one without any good directions since there are no signs, etc., and it is pitch dark. What if one is disabled?? The husband says this place is "not user-friendly." We decided to stay here rather than somewhere else based on reviews of the park on this site. We will not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have camped at this KOA several times. The owners are friendly and patient. The camp is clean and well cared for. Care has been taken to leave as many trees as possible at sites. Sites are gravel and mostly level. A wonderful, shady, mile long nature trail is available for hiking. The park is easily accessed from I-35, but road noise from the highway is minimal. Oklahoma City has many sites to see and this park is a great place to stay when doing so. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

A typical KOA which means fine for a night. Nice folks,clean showers and restrooms. Not much gravel and many sites were muddy/wet from all the rain they have had. No cable and not much antenna reception either. No trash cans ! Every scrap of trash had to be taken to the one dumpster near the entry. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is one of the most beautiful, well-maintained RV parks we have ever visited. It's in the country, yet easy access to the freeway and just minutes from Oklahoma City. The friendly owners live there and keep the place spotless. There's a wonderful nature trail around the perimeter of the park, perfect for walking your dogs. They offer a well-stocked convenience store, too. One of our favorite places. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here 4 days on our trip east. I don't understand the previous review regarding the truck noise. Our site was near the entrance and we never heard the freeway at night. Sitting outside during the day, we could occasionally hear some trucks, but no problem. We enjoyed the large sites and shade trees. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only downside was the cost which is normal for a KOA. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Quiet park, out of town but still easy to get to I40. Sharp turns at the end of the rows and was very dark at night. The sewer dump was at the end of the site, no fun with middle tanks. Park was empty, roads/sites are gravel, and was put in a pull-thru on a hill. My trailer tongue was 3 feet off the ground to level it. There is a walking trail they were building a new area that still looked hilly. Would stay somewhere different just because of the hilly sites. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Better than average KOA. Many large shade trees, nice facilities. About 13 miles east of Oklahoma City but quick access on big highways takes you into the city easily. Clean new large washers and dryers ($l.50 each). Much better than other local campgrounds which seem to lean toward old trailers and noisy areas. We would stay here again. Child facilities are in one area. Very cordial staff. Verizon broadband air cards get 100% reception here. Easy online reservation system. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park has changed their wifi set up. We received excellent contact for the 2 days we were there for free. The people at the counter were very friendly and helpful with info and discount coupons for the area. We were there in our 38' FW. The site was wonderful with room for our slides and awning. My call for reservations had me worried - the young man who answered the phone seemed to have dyslexia, and could not get the order of the letters I gave him for our last name. U-S-H-E-R, I'd say, and he'd repeat back, S-U-H...? It was very frustrating. Then, when he asked for the credit card number, he transposed so many of the numbers I asked to speak to someone else on staff! But, once we got there, A girl was very efficient and capable. I guess it's a KOA thing to escort you to your site? Unnecessary but a nice touch. The facilities were VERY clean, and shower pressure was great. There does seem to be some confusion as to the wi-fi policy, though. The staff told us that we got 8 hours for free per computer, and the next 24 hours cost $3. We had some heavy surfing to do, so we paid the $3 and figured we'd use it on one of the computers. When you log into the access window, however, it tells you you get the first 24 hours free. We were able to access the internet on both computers for more than 8 hours for free. The connection was available from our site (#7, I think it was), but it was spotty and unavailable for up to an hour after the office was closed. Then it magically reappeared... We did it in a travel trailer and would do it again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice campground. Spacious sites that are easy to maneuver around. Lots of shade. We requested close to the pool and that is what we got. Nice owners kept the store open late so we could get some souvenirs. Everything was gravel so the kids couldn't rollerblade, but there was a nice nature trail to take a relaxing walk after a long trip to get there. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice smaller park with friendly people. Attractive office and bath area. Not a bad park for an overnighter although it is too far from anything to be a destination park. I would have rated it higher except for its archaic and arcane wi-fi system. With their system, you have to go to the office and buy eight-hour "tickets" that allow you eight hours of "clock time" (not on line time) for $2.00 for eight hours. Each ticket has a code on it that activates your eight hours. This works out to $6.00 per day or $42.00 per week. Not only is the system ridiculous, it is ridiculous that a park that charges as much as this one does even charges for wi-fi. Just another KOA ripoff! We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a good campground close to a big city. Landscaping was very nice on the entry and around clubhouse. Campground landscaping needed work. The grass was dried out & the stickers were awful. The campground was dusty as sites and roads were gravel, but wide enough for any number of slides. Utilities were modern and well placed. Playground for children. Pool was a disappointment as it was closed---should reduce price when amenities are reduced. Visited park in 40' motorhome and it was big rig friendly. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is an excellent campground - close enough to OK City to enjoy the sites and, for those retirees or active duty, close to Tinker. The owner of the park greated us and was extremely helpful with ideas on restaurants, tours, etc. The spaces were wide and was an "easy in and out". The only negative we found was that the grass was covered in stickers - which made it very uncomfortable for our Lhasa - spent a lot of time pulling stickers out. We would definitely camp here again when in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very friendly at check in. Nice, quiet RV Park. Easy to get to City & Tinker from here. I do not think you could find a better place to spend a night, or longer! We would defenately stay here next time through! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground had a gorgoeus walking trail. They were also very helpful in the store to guide us to the site and give us suggestions for restaurants in the area. I think they were going to have wireless internet soon. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy access, clean park, gravel roads and sites. Nice playground for 5 year old grandson. Friendly staff and accomodations, no noise from I-40. Did laundry, and driers are slow and so take a few extra $'s. Would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice & friendly host. Easy access to I-40 & very quiet. Have their own cafe & a great German restautant down the road not far from there. Close to the Air Base & Oklahona City. We'll be back! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Wonderful location. Right off of I-35. Easy off and on. It is amazing how little road noise there is. Restrooms and Showers clean and nice. No internet. Had to stop because we lost parts to our brake buddy and needed to have the brakes checks. Sites are good size and level. You park on cement pads. Have stayed before and will stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is our kind of campground. We do not need all the services that many enjoy. We like a clean friendly campground with asphalt and/or concrete and a ample grassy space at each site. Very close to I-40 just off of I-35 and no highway noise. This is perfect if you enjoy a city setting. The campground is 10 minutes from "Bricktown", the happening area in the downtown. And 10 minutes to the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial. Tom the campground manager went out of his way to give us all kinds of info about the city and his favorite restaurants. We almost did not stay here because Trailer Life gave it a low rating. We are glad we took the chance. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a nice campground in Oklahoma City. It was concrete and grass which was nice, but the sites were not level at all. Most of them sloped toward the front of the rig so badly that some people had to use wood under their jacks to get enough height. It is definitely a park where a lot of working people live while on assignment in Oklahoma City. The staff is friendly and helpful and the sites are nice size. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Stayed for a month. Nice, clean, and friendly. Can be a bit noisy with the freeway nearby and railroad tracks on the otherside of the freeway. Concrete sites are a big plus. Sites are angled for easy entry and departure. Would stay here again if in town. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice RV park. All RV's park on concrete pads, have grass around every site, very clean and nice to look at. All sites were spotless. Very low road noise from I-35 and no problem to get on and off I-35. Staff was nice at check in time. People come to this park a lot, all like this place. We will come back in the future. We camped here in a camper.

A very nice clean and well managed campground. The grounds were well maintained and the grass was cut and trimmed around all concrete slabs. I would go back if ever in the area. While staying in the area I drove to the other LARGE print campgrounds that were in the book and compared Roadrunner to those...Roadrunner was head and shoulders above the other two in eye appeal...absolutely no comparison...I did not go in to check
the other facilities...a roadside visual check only We camped here in a camper.

This park is just off I-40 West of Oklahoma City. The staff was helpful. Newspapers, muffins, and coffee are provided each morning in the office. Most sites are pull through. Some have shade trees. The sites and roads are gravel. There was standing water in the roads. There is an indoor pool. The site was a little narrow with slides out. The WiFi was weak from our site. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Campground was close to I-40 and a little noisy, but you expect that when you are close to the freeway. The campground is a little more than a parking lot with level gravel sites. But, it was clean and convenient. The indoor pool and bathhouse have access cards (like hotels). The office area was accommodating with free coffee and newspapers. The Wi-Fi was in-and-out. I would stay here again if the opportunity presented itself. It is conveniently located to a Camping World and lots of stores and eating establishments. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Great for over night stay. WiFi works good. Cable is good. Sites are not paved and I can see that it might be a problem with tracking in dirt especially if it rains. Staff friendly. It appears to be an older park with lots of permanent people. But on this night the available over night sites were filled up quickly. Ours was a 30 amp site and on the gauge we have it is barely in the green. Also water pressure is low. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We over-nighted, and were not in the park much because we visited our daughter and family in their motel, but I was very impressed with how clean the park was and how easy it was for these "newbies" to get parked and set up. Even though it had recently rained, and there was some water standing, it was not in the RV sites, nor was it a problem. The location was very convenient, and although close to the interstate, we did not experience any highway noise. Office staff was not "overly friendly," but not rude, either. The homemade muffins and coffee were a nice touch. We did not use any of the amenities (showers, swimming pool/hot tub, laundry), but we look forward to staying here again so that we can experience more that this campground has to offer. We will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We have stayed at this park several times as we traverse I-40. This park is clean, convenient to local amenities (Camping World/Wal-Mart), and the park staff if competent. This park is older, but is reasonably well kept. Not all the sites have wi-fi or cable TV available. TV reception via the antenna is marginal. We will stay there is the future. I give this park best marks for its staff. They were kind enough to let us stay over a few hours when we had an appointment in town, and they also let us use the wi-fi a day after we checked out. The wi-fi is better than most we've experienced in RV parks. They are also very close to Camping World, Walmart, Home Depot, Texas Roadhouse and a bunch of other stores and restaurants. It is an older park, but most adequate. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Like any other, this park has it's pros and cons. THE PROS: heated indoor pool and hot tub, full hookups, free coffee and muffins, discount tickets to area attractions, relatively level sites. THE CONS: extremely low water pressure (35 psi), staff isn't overly friendly (which has been mentioned in other reviews), sites are pretty tight (ours was less than 21 feet wide), traffic noise from the interstate is noticable and constant (but not to the point of being bothersome). WE WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park has the feeling of a gravel parking lot with paved streets. The indoor pool was clean and so was the hot tub. The highway noise can be heard, but didn't seem to create a problem for us, as the road was only 1/4 mile away. Depending on what Rv you have, you will hear the trucks. The sites are mostly side to side, with some back-ins. The management was not overly friendly, but answered all questions and seemed to care about the customers in the park. Not all sites have cable TV or phone service. The free wifi was very sporadic and not all sites can receive the signal. It would be a strong signal, then without warning drop off to nothing. Glad we were not paying for it as we would have been very ticked off. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

If all your going to do is pull in and sleep, then this park is ok. Big huge parking lot with some trees. Sites are pretty close together. Staff isn't overly friendly. Laundry facilities work good. They don't watch what comes into their park. We had people coming and knocking on our doors trying to sell stuff. The pool didn't look like anything that I wanted to swim in, didn't look very clean. They say they have WiFi, but if your not parked right behind their office your not getting it. It is easy access on and off I-40 and to eating places, Walmart, Camping World, etc... We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

While the park advertises free wireless internet access, this is only available by using your computer in the office or at the swimming pool between certain hours of the day. The ad for the park was very misleading, and it led me to believe that wireless internet was available at each site. While there are many sites, I had the feeling that I was in a gigantic parking lot. I will not come back here. In fact, I checked out to find another park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
