The last two reviews pretty much says it all, but i do have a couple of comments to add. First of all the full hook up sites are two close so we picked a electric only site which saved us another two dollars. I would not want to stay in this park during the peak season or maybe on weekends. Either could be dusty if no rain. The lake was pretty, and where we parked, we had a great view of the lake but I feel the grounds needed a good clean up. The campground manager was nice, and in all fairness, we would stay here again. The stay here is 14 days at a time but I feel there is a blind eye for longer stays during off season because some of these people looked like they had been there for months. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We have stayed in this campground before, it is quite, trees, fair size sites, tables and fire pits and up-right grill to cook in. Great value and seniors get a great discount. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This city park is outside of town beside a sizable fishing lake, and has picnic facilities, a pavilion, boat launch, and a playground. The buildings have seen better days, and the roads are all gravel. Some of the pads have concrete slabs, but even in the rain, it wasn't too muddy. Most sites have trees, fire pits, and metal barbecues. The people are very friendly, and it's quiet at night. On a weekend, it might fill up, but while we were there, plenty of room. I don't think you can get a better water view anywhere for $12. This is "just camping", not a resort. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
