We like lots of room and this is your typical side by side RV park. Most of the trees have been removed so there is no shade. Our hookup had leaking water so our canopy area was muddy as well. There are several monthly renters that make the park unattractive as well. If I'm up that way again, I'd head to Tall Chief Cove. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We were very pleased with our camping experience here. The lake is gorgeous and surrounded by forest and hills. The lake is clear and calm for boating. There is a marina very close by. We were impressed with the boat dock and beach also. And we were able to get around ten TV stations with only our crank up antenna. The bathrooms are private and nice. Be sure to have long water hose for connecting to the water. The only minor negative is that many of the sites don't have long parking pads for RV's. And there isn't much room for extra vehicle parking at each site, which makes the interior road a little crowded, but not bad. Overall, though, it's a quiet shaded campground right on the lake. You can easily dock your watercraft right at your campsite. We loved it! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We enjoyed our stay here. The scenery is so nice and the lake fun. We borrowed a small boat from a family member and went fishing. It was great. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
All sites are paved and level. The park was clean. All sites have electric, but water spigots were spaced
every 100 feet or so, lots of hoses running here and there, across roads, etc. There is only one dump station, that I saw, and it was a little out of the way for pulling a tote tank. Nice sandy swimming area and very nice boat ramp with a rubber, bumpered dock. We camped here in a camper.
