The staff was both friendly and helpful. Beautiful scenery, clean camp grounds. Plenty of family activities: paddle boats, fishing, biking, hiking, horseback trails, swimming, miniature golf, and natural springs. The only downside was the pool was closed temporarily. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Due to bad weather there weren't many campers at the park. We camped down at the larger of the two lakes. The sites are roughly level and quite spacious, grassy and have a view of the lake. The resident yard geese were entertaining, wild Canadian geese came in too. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great family campground. Had miniature golf, paddle boats, horse rides, trails, fishing, and a huge nice swimming pool. The trails were great with natural springs and creeks that were beautiful. We had one of the few spots with shade. Lake was nice but small, not for big boats. Swimming pool cost $5 for adults and $4 for kids, there were issues with the pool being closed, but it was a very nice pool. Staff was great. We would return. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
This is a small park with very few full hook up sites. We did get a good spot with some trees, but they are hard to come by. This park has a lot of activities to offer including, hiking, horseback riding, putt putt, paddle boats or canoes, a pool, and a small general store. The best part of the campground is the natural springs that you can play in. The campground needed some work and the bathrooms were average. Overall this was a good experience and I would go back if we could get the same spot. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We stayed in one of the full hook up sites. There are other non-full hook up sites available at a lower rate. There were a good number of sites that had shade. They do not take reservations. Cannot swim in the lake but they have a large pool available for swimming. Great place for a family camping trip. Also the golf course is outstanding. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
The State Park is clean and the Rangers are friendly. Lakes are available for fishing and
a tough 18 hole golf course for the golfers...All in All the park is well kept and a reasonable price for camping...will camp there again We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have camped here twice with 2 to 3 other campers. On a three day weekend in January. It has always been very pretty and the trout fishing has been great. Our friends have kids 9 years old. They did everything: fishing, biking, hiking, sitting by the campfire. They were worn out but had a great time. Nice paved roads, cement pads. Our friends stayed in one of the cabins with a fireplace. They also have a lodge, restaurant, horse back riding, paddle boat rental. We will return again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
