The electrical sites for large trailers and motor homes are away from the main park at Riverside camp ground. You will have to drive out of your camp ground to go to the main site to access pool, sandy beach, trails etc. Separate dumping area also has potable water to fill the fresh water tank. The sites at Riverside campground are shady with mature trees. Pool was closed when we stayed there, which doesn't open until 27-June. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
The park has everything. Sites are well laid out and all on grass. The office is in an old mill. This park has been operated by the family for five generations. The staff is helpful and friendly. The only criticism is the laundry. We had no problem because we were probably the only full-timers in the park. There is one washer and one dryer. The good part is that they are domestic appliances and very efficient and cost only $1.00 to wash and $2.00 to dry. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Tried this campground overnight in late-September 2008 and had to come back gain in the Summer. Beautiful campground along the Nottawasaga River with historic mill on-site - the mill is the campstore. Sites are larger for a private campground though the pull-through sites are very narrow. The sites are all grass with a good mix of shade trees. The power and water taps are all located at the road which makes for some difficult connections (bring extra hose and power cord) but the sites are roomy. Pool is clean but a little small as the park is very popular with families with young kids. The owners keep ducks and a horse on their small farm. We enjoyed our stay. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
