This is a municipal park right on the shore of Lake Nipigon, with hiking trails, a beach and a boat launch. Sites are fairly large back-ins, with partial hookups. Free Wi-Fi was surprisingly good considering the remote location, but cell phone coverage was very poor. I had to drive out highway 580 almost to highway 11 to get reception. My main complaint is that there is no camp host or any staff on duty overnight. On a holiday weekend, there were several alcohol-fueled loud parties which lasted until 2am, and no one around to keep the peace. The office staff indicated that next time, I should phone the OPP (located an hour's drive away). We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
