Overall this campground was quite nice. There are not a lot of transient sites available and apparently they are pretty much booked solid after July 1st. The roads were fairly easy to manouever, however, once there are more trailers in the park, it might be a bit tight for bigger trails (we have a 27 ft); our site was easy to get into and was quite large - with slide -out and canopy we still had a lot of space beside us. It is a Christian campground and conference centre, therefore there are often groups in using other facilities. They do not allow, alcohol or smoking anywhere on the property. However, if you are o. k. with this it is a nice, safe place for a family vacation. We were there before the start of their busy season, so once the seasonals arrive as well as the cottages getting filled up etc..., it probably gets a lot busier. They have a pool, beach front (although the beach was rather rocky and not very large) and small area to swim in the lake. Canoes, paddle boats, etc..., can be rented. They also have their own 9 hole golf course - you pay one rate (about $30 for my husband and 2 boys) and can play all day if you want - or play and return later in the day. They do have children's programs in the summer, however they were not operating when we were there. They do not have a games room - but there are basketball courts, beach volleyball, baseball and a couple of playgrounds. They do have a cafe where you can purchase food, which we didn't use, you can also buy into a meal plan while you are there. The bathrooms were clean, however, they obviously have not been maintained for a while and don't give a great impression. Overall we thought this campground was quite nice, and will likely return. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
