This park, although pretty, is run down. Roadways are narrow. Map of grounds is terrible. We were sent to a, what they called pull through site, at the back of the park. We had a 31 foot 5th wheel. Roads were wet due to rain. We skidded down hills and around hair pin turns. There is no way they should be sending any big rigs to the back of the park due to the park conditions. $36 dollars for an electric site that was mediocre at best. I would never stay here again. Showers were a mile from the site and not that great. The park looked like it was being neglected. I will not stay at a Provincial park again. Stayed at a private site next night. Better in all ways. Full hook up, $29.00. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Beautiful provincial park located 30 minutes north of North Bay. There are plenty of great RV sites along Marten River where you can dock your boat beside your rig. All the sites have excellent privacy and are secluded from each other. Our kids loved the beach's and playground equipment. There is a small store near the park for supplies and beverage alcohol. I would highly recommend staying here. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
