This is a really nice park with great fishing. Showers and facility is clean and tidy with a very professional staff. It is a very nice park to visit. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a gorgeous river side RV resort with large pull through spaces for big rigs and smaller, wider back-ins. Not a lot of shade trees in sites, but landscaping is ongoing. Very friendly staff and a lot of planned activities, including Bingo and Bunco. Large Clubhouse with full kitchen allows for great get-togethers. Good river access and dog off-leash area with poopy bags and receptacle. The Wi-Fi worked well close to the office, but our space was too far and we had to set up our satellite. Good CATV and Verizon phone reception. We stayed here in our fifth-wheel and we definitely would stay here again. Great monthly rates. Off the main highway. The only drawback was the plant next door - strong smell of asphalt on certain days. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Oceanfront sites are across in-park access road from steps to the beach. Very nicely maintained, friendly staff. Sites are gravel and concrete only, no grass, but the view and location is worth that small sacrifice. Weekly rate same as 6 nights. Separate dry-camp and tent area at $15. Concrete park-type restrooms/showers were kept clean. City park, not wilderness, but on the ocean. 10 for view & friendliness, down-rated for being an in-city park, no grass or trees. Cash only, no credit. 18 pull-thrus with 6 being paved, all other sites are gravel, not very level. Restrooms were clean, but only one shower for the whole campground. Free Wifi worked great, lots of cable channels. Seafood restaurant right across the street. Friendly owners. Quiet at night, better if you get a site back away from the road. Their cash only policy was a bit of a surprise. Sites are very narrow with no trees. If you are on the front side of the park (towards the road), as we were, there is a lot of traffic noise. It has a nice view. The staff is nice. We would probably stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Wasn't sure about this place at first, but it turned out to be great. There were level, wide pull thrus and very clean bathrooms. In the evenings we walked across the street to the ocean. Just before leaving for this vacation, I got an offer on my house (selling). The owners of this campground hand delivered faxes to our site so I could call and review with my real estate agent. In the evening (after the office closed) I went across the street to send faxes. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We really enjoy this place. It is very clean and very close to the ocean. The owners are great, the sites are level and a good size, and the location is wonderful. Wi-Fi and cable work well. There's no pool, but the ocean is a short walk away. At night we could hear the creek that ran behind our site and the ocean. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very clean and friendly RV Park. Bathrooms and laundry are spotless. There is one computer available in the laundry room for those who do not have their own laptops. Free Wi-Fi works well anywhere in the park. Restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. If you want to see beautiful sunsets and be close to the ocean this is the place for you. We loved this campground. When the sun is out, you have a view of the Pacific Ocean. There are a lot of things to do in the area and there are walking opportunities galore. The park is well managed and the office staff is great. The sites are wide and level. We would definitely stay here again. Wish we had time to stay longer this visit. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great little park. Quiet even tho in the harbor. Easy in and out and the greatest people to greet us. The restrooms and laundry are probably some of the cleanest we have ever been in for the past 10 years of rving. Can't recommend it enough if they have room for you. Quite a few seasonal people here, but all kept very neat and clean. We are in a 20 ft van, so of course we have plenty of room. But do see large motorhomes and they seem to fit quite easily. Our site B3 was a full hookup and located in the back nearest the highway. Cable TV sites which are water and electric (no sewer) are near the entrance in A loop. We picked up a low strength Wi-Fi signal from the info center across the highway. There is a charge for it, except for highway and weather info. There was construction down at the day use area to provide a new access path. Lots of vantage points to get those great sunset pictures. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A great park with some wonderful scenery. It rained much of the time we were there. The host was very helpful. All services were top notch. Good shopping in Brookings. We camped here in a Motorhome.

One of the best State Parks we have stayed in. We were in the front area with ocean views and some sun during the day. We had the cable, but no sewer. The sewer sites are in back, we came in for a couple of days and stayed for 8. Could have stayed a couple of more but the fog seemed to have gotten stuck over the coast. Park is a good place to use as a base for sighting both to the north and south. We drove into the Redwoods twice from here, plus a trip into Cresent City, CA. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A great campsite but the beach access can be difficult for older people. It is a very steep and bumpy drive to the day area and beach access. Very windy on the beach which made it very unpleasant. The campsite itself was great, very spacious although not too private. Rangers very visible but the "Hosts" were very unfriendly and mostly unavailable. It seems to me they don't do much but sell firewood. We saw volunteers cleaning sites etc. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Basically this is one of the prettiest RV spots on the coast. Love the trails down to the beach and the park is very clean. We did learn that we had been spoiled on other years we stayed here. We had been lucky enough to get front sites with cable. At this time they were not putting over nighters on these sites, so we were back in the back of the park and it was more like a campground with roads tight and lots of children. Still we will stay here again, but will check on site before staying. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful park that sits up on the bluff over looking the ocean. Brown pelicans are everywhere. Most of the sites are surrounded by foliage. Due to all the trees don't expect your satellite to work. I fell in love with the town. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Our site was A21 which had cable TV and a beautiful view of the south end of Harris Beach. This is a great park and I would have given it at 10 if our site had a sewer outlet. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A great Oregon State Park. We spent 3 nights there, and would have stayed longer if we could have. It was very clean, and the camp hosts do maintenance on a daily basis. The campsites are good sized and fairly level. We'd go back in a heartbeat! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We will stay here again and again. Big Rigs, pick and reserve your site carefully using the Oregon parks website (it shows length) Some sites have sewer, some sites have cable TV, No sites have BOTH. Very well maintained. Its a bit of a hike to the beach, but well worth it!! It's close to shopping and restraunts. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

It's hard to imagine a better state park - paved interior roads and sites, wide spaces separated by trees and hedges, super clean facilities, security, and even cable TV and WiFi. This is the way a park should be run. Beautiful ocean views, trails through the woods, and a wonderful playground for the kids. Daily programs for the kids and evening programs for the adults. The staff is friendly and the place bustles with employees and volunteers as they clean sites, trim bushes, etc. Get here early, it fills up fast almost every day. It is only one mile from town and shopping. We'd love to stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Harris Beach is a great place to camp. It has a beautiful beach view, hiking trails to the beach, and plenty of places to ride a bike and walk a dog. There is a laundry and showers, which many state parks do not have. The Oregon State Parks Reservation system is easy to use and staff is friendly. It is one of my favorite campgrounds. We camped here in a Truck Camper.

My only complaint about this was that the reservation site misrepresented our space we reserved, A10. I specifically wanted an ocean view site, and ours said it was, but the only way you could see the ocean is if you stood on the picnic table and looked over the overgrown, untrimmed trees. It may have had a slight ocean view 10 years ago, but no way did it have it now. The cable was a nice addition and it had one of the best playgrounds my kids ever played at in a campground. I'd return, but I'll pick a different site. The sites across from the playground have an unobstructed view of the ocean. Also, Harris Beach has the best tidal pools. We saw hundreds of starfish!! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

One of the best state parks to visit. Easy access to the beach and plenty of room for people and pets. Close to town if you need services. Large sites with pleanty of room for the the motorhome and additional space for tents for the inlaws. Wooded, and great views from the trails. We camped here in a Motorhome.

One of the most scenic campground locations in Oregon. Self registration in effect during the winter months. Our full hookup site was not level. The best sites were at the front. They had cable TV, but no sewer connection. Good trails to the beaches. The WIFI connection was at the visitor center across the highway from the park. Wood available from the campground hosts. There are yurt rentals available as well. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Clean restrooms, cool air, very short walk to the beach. Rangers very friendly, and had programs for the children. Loved this place!!! Beautiful State Park, little tight to back into but made it in our 36 class A with 4ft lift on back. Nice walk to beach but you can also drive down. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Another excellent Oregon State Park. Sewer and cable available at selected sites. Had no trouble getting my 32' fiver into the site. Saw a number of larger Class A vehicles in sites. Quite a hike to the beach though. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is located just north of Brookings (1655 Hwy.101N). Well shaded sites are along the winding park roads (not crowded together). You may have one or two neighbors. Park rangers keep a close eye on the park and politely notify campers of any infractions (such as when our tow vehicle was off the paved pull-in site). Only a few sites offer a view of the Pacific Ocean, but all sites are within a ten minute or less walk to the sea cliffs. You probably won't be able to hear the waves from your site, but you definitely will hear the wind in the pines. The beach itself is reached by either a dirt pathway, or by taking a paved road down. The geology of the cliffs and beach is impressive. Rock formations protrude out of the ocean. Sunset became a group event as many walked down to an observation point and watched the colors come and go. This park is a very clean, pretty, and a nice place to stay. What a beautiful park. It is located on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Huge pine trees provide shade and beauty. Some sites even have privacy hedges and grass lawns. Spaces here are available with cable, electricity and water hookups. There is a dump station on site. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I have no idea why this park is rated as high as some of the previous ratings indicate. As previously indicated, the greatest percentage of the park is and continues to be converted to park models. This leaves only a small percentage for RV'ers. If you are looking to meet other RV'ers and enjoy the social aspects of RV'ing there is little opportunity here. The paved spaces are fine and can accomodate even a Prevost as we saw. The wifi is spotty, the bathrooms are excellent, the managers are nice and helpful. Overall, it appears that the owners are reluctant to spend much money on the place. Examples are overflowing trash container (at times), cable tv that has no local channels (LA and NY why knows why), a little used hodge podge of a rec room, and a pet area that is nothing more than a gravel area on the side of the park. Based on our initial disappointment with this park (since we planned to stay for a month) we checked out 5 or 6 other parks in the area. As we found they were no better and some worse. So this place is not terrible, just not greatest either. There is much to do in the area, you can walk to the harbor, shops, beach and restaurants. Verizon cell phones work great here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a good overnight stop for us. Lots of park models here and few RVs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We chose this site over others in the area as we needed a good laundry facility. This one was great. Lots of machines and a very clean laundry room. I wouldn't spend more than a night here, as there are more rustic parks in the area with much better views. This park started out being our 3rd choice (couldn't get what we needed at the first, didn't care for the 2nd) but ended up being our best choice. We liked it so much after just one nite, we went into the Front Office the next day and converted from a 3-wk stay to a monthly - and saved money, despite having to pay our electric usage! We liked our wide "premium" site with its glimpse of a water view and managed to eke out a strong enough WiFi signal at least once each day because we were close to the Front Office where the antenna was. The staff was friendly and helpful and bathroom and laundry facilities were kept clean. We had already decided we'd return next summer if we could get our same site back, however, they are converting several more sites to Park Models. One of the permanent guests across from us has been scheduled to move to our site after us due to his row of spaces being converted. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This basically a park for permanents with only a few spaces for overnighters. It is tight and the "free wi-fi" has a range that is severely limited. Sites are not level. I would not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is our favorite park in Brookings. It is very clean and has large paved pads for big rigs. They take you to your spot and help you park. One man in particular is very helpful with this and also in answering your questions about places to see. Stores, resturants and harbor are all within walking distance. Very friendly place. My wife and I love this little RV Park and we will visit it again next year for sure. The park is older but well maintained and the management there was truly a pleasure. They even loaned me a TV to watch during my stay when mine went on the blink. If you are ever visiting the southwest coast of Oregon this is a perfect little place to stay. It is a small family owned business and it's good to see that there are some of those still in operation. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
