This is a very busy campground during the summer. You will need to have reservations or get there very early. We were here after Labor Day and it had turned into a first come first served campground until next Memorial Day. It was very quiet and we really enjoyed ourselves. We have stayed here in the summer before and found it to be too busy, plus it was smoky and there was quite a bit of road noise. There are numerous activities that the park hosts each day. There's swimming, fishing, boating and it's a huge lake. 106 full hookup, 72 electrical, 133 tent (maximum site 60 feet), 82 boat slips. All of the sites are roomy and some are rather private. The park has a small gift shop/ice available there. In the town of Detroit which is about a mile away, there are restaurants, fishing tackle stores, a grocery store, gift shops and a post office. We would stay here again during the off season. We camped here in a Motorhome.
