Stayed here under Passport America. This is a nice park but I wish the sites were more level. We had good shade from a couple of trees. No problems with electric and water was decent. Cable TV was very good. The Wifi was usable. Good Verizon 4G service. We stayed here while visiting friends in Sutherlin. It's convenient to town and also close to the Interstate. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Had a lovely site with a fenced cement patio and table. Very pet friendly - there are two large off leash areas for the dogs. Very friendly staff. Will probably stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park is convenient to I-5, but far enough off the highway to be quiet at night. It's a very clean park and well maintained. The sites are gravel and each one has a little fence enclosure around a paved patio with a small picnic table and chairs. The fences, while not providing visual privacy, do give you a nice sense of separation from your neighbor. Wi-Fi was very fast. We would definitely stay again at this well-run, attractive park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This was a return visit to this park. We arrived late night, but had made a reservation ahead of time and noted that we would be coming in after hours when we booked a space. We expressed a preference for a site that was away from others so our lateness would not disturb anyone – but we were still placed in a location with many campers (which made us very uncomfortable). It was difficult to get level as there were many ruts and potholes in our space. The Internet did not work and there was no apology or explanation given about it in the morning. The overall experience here was disappointing as we have enjoyed this park in the past. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Passport America rate. Stayed 2 nights. Very well maintained and manicured park. Central to Sutherlin/Roseberg areas and all of their offerings. Friendly folks, well organized. Large showers and very clean restrooms. A few essential grocery/RV supplies in office. There are two very large dog runs. We were disappointed that the movie didn't run while we were there (runs Sat and every once in awhile a 2nd night). Picnic tables that sit under the trees need to be cleaned of bird mess. Worth checking out! We camped here in a Motorhome.
We were passing through, so only stayed one night. It was a very clean facility. The rest rooms and showers very very clean and well cared for. The sites were level and pull throughs, although they were tight, because the roads were not very wide. The manager was on site and supplied a lot of local information. I think during the regular season they show a movie that can be seen from your RV, which would be neat had we been here at the right time. We would stop here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is definitely a good place to stop - close to I-5 yet far enough away to be quiet, easy access with pull-throughs, the cleanest restrooms and showers we've seen in a long time. Would definitely stay here again. It's an old drive-in movie site and they show movies on weekends. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Rate is Escapees 15% discount. Great park with the novelty of it's own drive in theater where you can watch a movie from your rig. Plenty of room for our 40' motor home, 4 slides in our pull through site. Sites are level, gravel, and have concrete patios with a privacy fence, and real patio furniture, not just a picnic table. Lots of trees and landscaping, free Wi-Fi, Verizon cell and air card work great. We did not use the bath or clubhouse. Very nice fenced dog run. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice RV park with pull throughs that will handle the largest rigs. The roads are asphalt and the sites are gravel. There is a concrete patio with a plastic table and two chairs. Some sites have a wood divider wall between your site and the next which surrounds the patio. No fire pits and you cannot wash your RV here. There are two quite large, fenced dog runs for those who have dogs. The people in the office are nice and helpful. The laundry room is small with 4 washers and 6 dryers but nicely kept. There is a covered bridge only about 2 miles from the park. We would return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a very nice area and this is a great RV park. We stayed in August and warm during the day and cooled right off at night. This park is off the freeway but there still is a bit of truck Jake Brake noise from the road beside it. I think I would have rated it a 10 if not for that. Clean park with two dog runs. A large outdoor movie screen where they show movies at night. Friendly staff. Great Wi-Fi. Both my satellites could see their birds. This would make a great place to spend a while. Unfortunately for us we were just stopping for the night. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very beautiful RV park. The sites are level, clean and quiet. Our site had a cement patio with a table and chairs. Had the bonus of popcorn and a movie. Staff was friendly and helpful. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Excellent stop-over on I-5. Clean, friendly, and very accommodating about us changing sites. It was extremely quiet at night. No highway noise, no trains, no noisy neighbors, etc. Nice, large, fenced dog runs with lots of grass. Easy late night check-in. Will definitely use again anytime we are passing through Oregon. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Just wrapped up a 3-night, Camp-out "Rally" with several others in an RV Club. This Park was so friendly and accommodating. We were given a large meeting room in the Club House and used the covered patio. The kitchen facilities inside and the grill equipment outside were super. The 50-amp sites were all taken but we used a 30-amp and it worked fine. This was our first visit but we would definitely return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Once again, just an a great RV park to use after a long day on I-5. Friendly ladies at check in, fast and easy and very easy drive to your site. Long pads and a bit close to each other but enough room to relax. We use this park when going to or from the Oregon coast. The rate is for using CampClub. Would recommend this park to everyone on I-5 that needs a good night's rest. No movie the night we were here. Free popcorn in the office. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a very nice little park. We arrived after dark, but, before the office closed at 6 pm. Check-in was easy and quick. Staff very friendly and helpful. The park comes with free wi-fi, but, we could not connect. When I talked to one of the managers, he said they have never figured out why it doesn't work. He said sometimes it connects and sometimes it doesn't. We have an aircard so would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
The rate reflects weekday, Passport America, for a 30 amp site (50 amp is more). A great I-5 stopover with easy pull-throughs. The sites are a bit close together but not bad. I liked the trees planted around that were pretty with fall foliage, but not tall enough (yet) to block our roof satellite. Overnighters are in the back section with a better chance for reception, or plug in to their extended cable. The yellow barn office is a nice touch, and the drive-in movie would have been fun if playing that night. Wi-Fi worked well. The park has a good feeling about it, and I would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Great park! They never disappoint us. Always very clean, friendly, clean laundromat, newspaper, etc., plus a movie on the big screen. Doesn't get much better than that! We usually travel using our Passport America but on our last stop, Sunday, it wasn't valid which was OK. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Nice park--we've stayed here before just overnight and found it satisfactory. Quiet [at least, until the thunderstorm rolled in!] and well-maintained. The laundry facilities are pretty limited: Four washers and one was out of order. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a very nice, quiet, and clean park. They even have a big screen where they show movies on some nights. The popcorn is always free. There are many full time residents in the park, but overnighters and short term renters are parked in a different area of the park. The sites are pull-through, the streets adequately wide, and the park is very well maintained. We only stayed here overnight, but would consider staying longer in the future. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Excellent location, very quiet. Wi-Fi was a bit weak but worked when we went to office. Very clean sites with fenced patios, which was a nice touch. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is the Good Sam rate. The 8 rating may be a little strong...7 a little weak. This old drive-in movie park is very old, very clean, and well groomed. Movies are only on certain nights. Bathrooms are a bit dated, but absolutely shiny and spotless. Everything was painted and bright.; nothing flashy. There is mostly 30 amp sites. Office doesn't open till 10:00 AM. Lots of permanent rigs, but not mixed with short terms. There is popcorn in the evening and coffee in morning in the clubhouse. I felt it was just a little pricey for an overnight. Manager was nice and friendly. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a delightful, friendly RV park. We spent only one night there, but intend to stay longer next visit. The courteous treatment, clean and attractive surroundings, and free drive-in movie gave us great pleasure. On our return trip we plan to stay longer so we can visit nearby wineries and see more of the country. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Formerly a drive-in (movies), and sitting in our car watching RV was great .. made for a memory. Sutherlin is so small it only has one grocery store (had to ask for directions), has minimum business district, however, Roseburg isn't that far away for a great selection of stores. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a nice, clean, well maintained park. Their drive-in movie is a great idea, but there was no movie playing the night we were there. They only had 30 amp service for us, which we can usually get by on. But in the evening, the amperage decreased so much that it messed up our refrigerator and our water heater. Also, the water pressure is low. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a average RV Park that has great Passport America rates Mon thru Thurs. The sites are clean and well maintained. The large screen movie was fun and exceptional for a RV park. The cable TV had adequate channels (70+). The Wi-Fi signal was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. In all it would have been a great stay and the park would have rated an 8. However, occasionally we could smell sewer/methane gas. We looked about and discovered numerous sewer vents sticking up about 10 feet high throughout the park. It became apparent that this was the source of the sewer smell that over powered us occasionally. Despite this problem we would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Rate was with PassportAmerica membership for 10 days. Very tidy and well kept park. Will recommend to all types of RV's. Not rated a 10 because of no pool. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
About a 1/4 mile off I-5 which made it quiet at night. Friendly staff, free Wifi, cable TV. Restrooms were very clean, private showers. 83 pull-thru sites, gravel with concrete patio, chairs & table. Pet friendly, a wash area for your RV. We stayed one night passing through, great RV park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We were only going to stop for the night, but stayed 2 nights because we liked it so much. This is a very well-kept park. There are quite a few permanent residents but it is obvious that they take pride in their park and make up a friendly community. The grounds were very clean and the location is convenient to I-5, but far enough off the freeway to be quiet. The nearby town of Oakland is worth a visit if you like historic towns and antique shopping. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice, clean park, friendly staff. Large/clean washrooms. Free WiFi, pets welcome. When heading south a good stop before Grant's Pass. Quite popular even in off-season. Sites were roomy, on gravel, but lots of separate grassy areas. Only criticism: levelling blocks recommended for some sites which we find a nuisance if only a 1-nite stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We used Passport America for this park and it was worth every penny. A nice, clean campground with friendly staff. Many long term residents but they keep the place really nice. We got in after-hour but self check-in was easy. Wish we were there for the movie night. Good pet areas. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very cute park but here's what happened. We called late afternoon and got a phone recording. It stated that they had sites available and to come on in. When we got there a half hour later the office was closed and the full sign was out. A lady drove in and asked if we had questions. I stated your recording says you have sites available, no so?? She said "Well we just can't change the recording every night". My question is "why not?". She offered dry camping in an unlevel grass field. No thanks, we went on down the road! We camped here in a Motorhome.
I stayed here for 2 1/2 weeks and it was cheaper to pay for the month than by the week ($300/month). Many extended stay RVers (probably due to price). Clean park and staff is friendly and helpful. Not much for aesthetics - gravel spaces and small trees. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Staff was very efficient at check in. Sites are tight but there is plenty of grassy areas on the perimeter. Close to freeway but not noisy. Pet friendly. Park is neat and clean. Unfortunately, we weren't there for "movie night" which is shown on the big screen left over from its drive-in theatre days. Sounds fun. Desk staff was good with local restaurant recommendations. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This park is OK, but there is nothing special about it. Roads are paved. Sites are gravel (black lava rock) and reasonably level. Most sites are pull thrus. This is not a pretty park. There are a few small trees. At least half of the sites are occupied by seasonal/permanent residents. Passport America members might want to consider Oak Hills Golf Club & RV Resort which is about 1/2 mile up the road. We drove thru it and it appeared to be a good clean park with paved roads and sites. It had no trees. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed here overnight when we were just passing through. The restrooms were the nicest we've seen. Very clean, heated, and large private shower areas. Each shower area has its own sink and mirror, plus a dressing area with a seat and hooks for clothing. Nobody was staffing the office when we arrived, but information was provided to allow late check-in. Note that only cash or check is accepted for late check in, although I suppose you could pay the following morning if you were going to be there when the staff arrived. This isn't one of those places that allows you to check in after hours but doesn't provide access to the bathrooms, showers, and laundry room, thank goodness. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a nice, clean, quiet well run park. While not spectacular in any particular aspect, everything is very acceptable and the rate was commensurate for the quality you receive. We arrived about 30 minutes after office hours but they stayed to make sure we were checked in without any hassle. We would certainly recommend this park for an overnight stay if passing through the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a small, clean, quiet and fully paved park. The golf course is really nice and the price is really a good deal. Rate stated is the weekly rate. We had a pull-through site. Will have to disagree with other reviews about the sites being level and a strong Wi-Fi. Neither were true in our experience. We actually had to put boards under the tires of our motorhome as our hydraulic jacks could not compensate for the unlevelness. Their Wi-Fi was very slow and our Verizon phones and hot spot did not work well as the signal was just too low. Overall, we really liked this little park and would suggest it. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We have been invited by Escapee friends who are permanents in this beautiful park. Large gravel sites, easy to get in and out, very level and hookups as they should be. Very quiet at night. Staff is very friendly and fellow campers also. Hard to avoid a chat when you meet someone. We liked it. Lots of activities going on every day, mostly in the clubhouse which offers a library, pool billiard, an exercise room and more. Only reason for not rating the park a '10' is the lack of privacy between the sites and the WiFi which is only available at the clubhouse (we could catch it with our antenna booster from our site though). We'll return for sure and stay longer next time, since we are Escapees now, too! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
The rate shown reflects a current special of pay for two nights, stay the third free. This is very nice, well kept Escapees campground. It is close enough to I-5 to be convenient, but far enough away that there is no traffic noise. It is a very quite park. Also, there are no large street lights, so it is fairly dark, which we love. The only traffic issue is that the residents drive very fast on the campground roads, so be careful. The sites are very large with parking on gravel, but with a nice concrete patio to step out on. The only issue with the site was that we had to use blocks to level, but that was not a big deal. Everyone is friendly and helpful, but they do have many rules to know and follow. Perhaps that is necessary to keep it nice. There is WiFi but only at the clubhouse, not at your RV. However, our Verizon Aircard worked well. The town has all of the basics needed for an extended stay and there is a lot to do in the area. This park is good for an overnight or for an extended stay. We will definitely stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Wonderful park. Close to town and restaurants. Residents made you feel welcome and were very friendly. We were able to participate in several park activities during our 3 night stay. Nice, wide spaces with wide streets to park our long 5th wheel. Cable TV was good. Wi-Fi signal is limited to clubhouse. Had to bring laptop to clubhouse to check e-mail. Park is currently running a stay 3, pay for 2 night promo. Promo runs thru June 2013 for first timers. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Rate reflects monthly rate plus electric charge. This is an Escapees Park where sites of absent owners are rented to travelers. Sites are large, mostly rough gravel with pad, and landscaping depending on the owner's improvements. Utilities are very good, the water is exceptionally soft, and the free cable is extensive and clear. Verizon cell and data worked well. There are no restrooms/showers, so the park is restricted to self-contained units only. Residents are typical Escapee-friendly and travelers are invited to participate in all of the activities. Wild turkey, deer, and jackrabbits are frequent visitors, and the setting, at the end of a road, is heavily treed outside of the park and quiet. Sutherlin doesn't offer a lot, but it does have the basic services and Roseburg is a short drive down the interstate. We'll stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I would have given this park a 10 except our site was not level, but nothing we couldn't deal with. The park is pristine, quiet, well managed. We stayed a week for $115, well worth joining Escapees. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a membership co-op park for SKP members only. It is situated in a quiet area on the south side of Sutherlin about five minutes from the I-5 freeway. The park is extremely clean and well manicured and sits in a valley with beautiful trees all around. There isn't much shade at the individual sites. Verizon wireless cards work well and the cable TV is very good. Laundry is large and spotless. Clubhouse is very nice. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There are lots of activities on the premises and the beach is only an hour away. This is a great spot to stay for a day or a month. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This was a beautiful, well maintained park. Our site was huge and flat. I was a little disappointed that the only activity while we were here, was the bingo. Would have liked a happy hour to get to meet some of the other folks. Other than that, it was awesome. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a super Escapees park. The sites are large and well laid out. All are permanent type sites. You are given a site that is vacant (owners away w/their RV). Many sites are beautifully planted and decorated. Sites are all gravel and very level. The only think missing is wifi throughout the park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Well laid out, large sites. Deer, turkey & jackrabbits wandering around in park. Activities in clubhouse started 5/1. Very well maintained. Not quite as friendly as other SKP coops. Dark at night and VERY quiet. Nice place. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
The sites were gravel but very large and level. It was very quite at this park which is nice because it is approximately 4 miles east of the freeway. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
As with most Escapee Coop parks the sites here are excellent. They are very roomy and extremely well kept. This park is not as active or friendly as many of the other coop parks, but was still very comfortable. There is plenty of hiking and sightseeing in the area with Crater Lake National Park as a nice day trip. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Escapee park. Very nice, but laid out like a regular RV park. Very large gravel site, room to park truck alongside. Quiet and well maintained, but no personality. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This was okay for two nights. Not somewhere that I would consider for an extended stay. We travel with dogs and for us, pet facilities make a big difference in our level of enjoyment. The pet area is located right in the parking lot/entrance to the golf course. It has bark chips, which is just adequate. There is an area back toward the highway that has grass. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a nice, paved, quiet park. The golf course is really nice and the price to stay here is a great bargain. We stayed for one week so that is the rate stated here. We will have to disagree with other reviews of level sites and strong cell signal and Wi-Fi. Our pull through site was not level and we had to drive the motorhome onto boards as our hydraulic jacks could not compensate for the unlevelness. Their Wi-Fi was terribly slow and our Verizon phones did not work well as the signal was just too low. It was hard to do without good cell phone reception and Wi-Fi for a week. Overall, we really did like this little park and would stay again for a night or two. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Excellent park. Beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and valley. Very quiet, as it is located far enough away from the interstate. All sites are concrete and level with picnic tables. Rest rooms and showers are spotless. Golf course adjoins the park. I would have given the park a 10 except for the lack of pool. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great price for such a nice RV park. Very clean, excellent condition overall, lots of amenities, friendly staff, quiet, super easy to get into. We were able to pull in overnight without unhooking. Very nice view of the mountains, especially some of the sites. The golf course looks very nice too. The sites are concrete and some gravel, the sites are surrounded by grass. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Rate is Passport America nightly rate. Not a large park, but well laid out with level concrete sites, convenient hookups, and quiet setting. Friendly check-in was followed by an escort to the site. Strong free Wi-Fi and extensive cable was excellent, and a spotless laundry was available. Not much room between sites, but enough to be comfortable. Verizon cell and data were strong and there was an obstructed view of the TV satellites. A remarkable value; we'll stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Excellent park. Wi-Fi is great. Laundry $1.00 to wash/$1.00 to dry, and our clothes got dry the first time. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. Owners do a great job. Got propane for the lowest price in town. We played golf 3 times, beautiful course. Definitely would stay again and again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The good: Wi-Fi, cable channels, laundry...clean and inexpensive, level site, good rate with Passport America $17.00...$27.00 with Good Sam. The bad - not a pretty park. Really good deal if you golf. If you want the golf discount you have to pay the $27.00 with the Good Sam discount and then one person is $15.00 for 18 holes walking and $30.00 for 18 holes with a power cart. Monthly rate for site and golf for two with a power cart is $710.00...amazing deal. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Pull through sites not level, all appeared to have some slope. Nice cement pads. Overall clean appearance. WiFi was good. Appeared to be some permanent campers. Golf course looked exceptional. We could hear lawm mowers on the golf course in early a.m. Log trucks on main road could be heard easily. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A convenient overnight stop right off I-5. There is a deli at the golf pro shop that serves breakfast and lunch, and several fast food restaurants are just down the road. The laundry has 4 washers and 4 dryers. The Wi-Fi and cable TV worked well, 75 cable channels. The restroom and showers are exceptionally nice. The rate reflects a Good Sam discount, and was very reasonable for a clean, quiet, park. I would enjoy staying here again while in the area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
If you golf the park has great rates and it would be a perfect spot to stay and play for several days. The pro shop is a quick walk from the park and be sure to visit the snack shop there - they have great food (breakfast and sandwiches). We had a site facing the golf course and would have been out golfing if the weather had been nicer. Had to take off because of the potential of snow in the passes in southern Oregon and northern California. Nice level sites made it easy to park and set up. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice, well maintained park. It sits high on a hill and has great views. Restrooms very clean, good size showers. Great PA price and golf course discount. Host Lonnie very personable & friendly, had good advice for the golf course and things to do in surrounding area! Park is expanding so hopefully prices won't go up too much and won't lose it's "down home" charm but will gain some shade trees. We definitely plan on returning. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Per other reviews, this is a real solid value. Park is on the borderline of 9/10. Management goes out of the way to make your stay great. Spend a week and if you decide to go monthly ($350) they will give you credit for the week paid. We ended up staying 12 nights. Golf course is nice, a mid range course. Some really pretty holes that setup nicely and other holes that have you wondering what the heck they were thinking. Avoid the pizza place nearby, terrible pizza. We found a nice little tavern in Oakland, the historic Oakland tavern that had great sub style sandwiches. Big enough for two, plus happy hour 4 - 6 daily. The only drawback was the smokers, but Oregon is going smoke free next year. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This was a very nice RV park. The staff was very friendly and took us to our site. The sites were paved and long enough that we didn't have to unhook the car. We had 50 amp service, full hookup, cable TV with lots of channels. We were able to get out with our satellite. We could wash the RV at no additional charge. They gave us the Passport America rate. I would definitely stay at this park again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We were very pleased with this friendly, well-maintained park located adjacent to a beautiful, challenging golf course. The camp hosts, were friendly and accommodating. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable, the water pressure was excellent, the restrooms, showers and laundry were spotless, and the price was right. They offer great golf deals to folks staying in the RV park. Only drawback was no shade. We will return to this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Wow- little Sutherlin is lucky to have three great parks. Was going to stop at Hiway Haven but they do not honor Passport America on weekends. The SKP (Escapee) park doesn't have showers nor laundry. This place, now called Umpqua Golf and RV resort was wonderful. Nicest manager I've ever met, who made a point to check on us and see if we needed anything, was ok to wash the rig, & leave late. Spotless bathrooms and laundry. Tremendous cable tv selection; didn't need Wi-Fi but it's secure. Best of all, they give a Passport America rate at $15 nightly even though they are no longer affiliated with them. Or can get Good Sam rate of $22.50. Will be back for sure! We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great park, super price! This is also a highly rated golf resort park. Even though I do not golf, I was told the course is excellent. Lots of pull thrus, and some with wonderful views. The staff is very friendly and attentive to your every question. I ended up to be a full timer, and stayed 3 months. I am going back, after my southern snowbird trip. This park has changed it's name to Umpqua Golf and Rv Resort. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a no frills RV park, but it is modern, clean, and nice landscaping. Small, but has nice modern laundry, spotless restroom, very nice laundry. Asphalt drive with level concrete slabs at site. Camp host is very tenative and nice. He told this park is changing name in a couple of months to Umpqua RV and Golf. Caution: water pressure is 95psi!!!! We stayed only overnight. Free WiFi is awesome, fast and works good and secure. No pool or hot tub. Good park and cheap. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We used the resort special of $70 for two riding 18 hole green fees and 1 night at the RV Park. Course is fairly challenging and worth a try. Some holes are under construction, but most are in good shape. The RV Park is basic with good hookups and free WiFi. Pull through sites are long enough to stay hooked up and fairly level, but could use some landscaping. Didn't notice any road noise. Owners were very helpful and mentioned they were working on new landscaping. We camped here in a Motorhome.
NO frills park but clean, friendly and accommodating. We arrived after closing but attendant came to our RV and registered us. We are not golfers but it sounds like the green fee is very inexpensive and the course looked very nice. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park is a great value at a weekly rate of $125 for a paved pull-thru site with instant phone. It has no-frills landscaping but some residents were watering their own little patch of grass. The weather was pleasant the whole week and a short drive to the Henry Estate Winery in nearby Umpqua was a treat. The reservation system is not computerized and manually-kept entries made for some confusion upon arrival (someone already in our reserved site). However, the nice gentleman who checked us in ("Fred") calmly found us an even better site and made us feel right at home. We'd definitely come back again - they plan to add WiFi soon. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Rated 9 if you are a golfer, but probably 6 or 7 if you don't golf. Right next to a gorgeous golf course with a terrific resident rate. RV park guests pay half of normal green fees (half of the $20 senior rate is only $10 for 18 holes on a high quality golf course). Easy in-out. Golf course views available. Instant-on phones. Convenient freeway access. Close to shopping and restaurants. Large, concrete pull-through pads. Adequate space to set up lawn chairs and barbecue. Will stay there 30 days next year. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
