Just got back from Christmas Pines CampGround. This place is wonderful. We had such a
great time here. The directions are good and the CG has a gate in front. They have three main sections for Weekenders. One section is for tents and is down and close to the pond. This is a real private and wooded area. Looks great. The second section is where we were and is a loop at the end. The sites are nice size and most are leveled nicely. They are wooded but it's easy for the big guys to back in. The CG is Clean. They took the time to clean up all the leaves and cleaned out the fire rings. This past weekend we went they weren't busy so they told us which sites where free and we could pick which one we wanted and just let them know later. The third section is an open gravel field. To open for me but some do like it that way. All sites have a gravel parking pad and the water & electric are in proper working order. The office, playground, bath house, game room, Pavilion are all nice and clean. The owners are real nice. I always saw the husband out working on something or cleaning something up. Only downside is no sewers, but the dump station is in an easy access location and I think they have honey wagon service. They had some craft actives for the kids and a Mother's day breakfast on Saturday which was free for Mom, Food was nice and cheap. They weren't making anything on it. To top things off the new Cabela's is only 10 minutes away. While the pool was closed it look like a nice setup. We would definately go again. You can't beat the price of $22 a night for Water and Electric. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
