Friendly greeting from the staff and guided to our site. Well maintained campsite with landscaped gardens and planted area between campsites. Gravel sites but drained well after heavy rain. Small catch and release pond seems to have plenty of fish in. We stayed here while visiting Hershey and I am pleased we stayed here as it was a pretty, tranquil place to stay. There We drove past the Hershey campsite and the KOA seems far more spacious. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I have mixed feelings about this campground. We had a great time and it is very close to Hershey Park, so that is a big plus. However, this is side by side camping. I think you could reach out and touch your neighbor. I like more rustic camping. I think it is a little expensive, but we did have cable, which was a treat, since we usually do not take a TV with us and it so happened that it rained when we were there. Staff was very nice and overall we had a good time. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I wrote the review on May 2008 about the attitude of the staff being poor. We just got home from camping here again, (We have good friends nearby), and I must say that the attitude of the staff is greatly improved. Also they had a great all-you-can-eat breakfast on Saturday morning with really nice people. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We used this campground as 'base camp' for our holiday weekend trip to Hershey, PA. We had low expectations going in given the previous reviews... the park met our expectations. Our site was difficult to back in to given the steep slope I had to overcome while backing up. The location of the dumpsters on the opposite side of the narrow road compounded the issue. Luckily for me our neighbor offered to move his truck which allowed me to take a sharp angle. He was nice enough to guide me in. Our site was fairly large. The location of the utilities was a bit odd. They were directly behind us and were shared with 3 other sites. I noticed that one camper had to use a long extension cord to get power to his rig (not to mention very long sewer and water hoses). The restrooms were beyond filthy. The pool looked decrepit and in disrepair. The staff was friendly. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Reservations made 2 months ahead for a travel trailer size site meant nothing. We were located on a tent site and after considerable discussion with an unfriendly employee we ended up with a very narrow, sloping site on the busy corner of a main camp road. Most sites are narrow, with very few trees for shade except around the perimeter of the fence. Washrooms were not cleaned frequently enough considering the place was packed. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here for a week, felt like a month, campsites are too close together for me, people on top of people. Sites were sloped way too much, had to use a lot of leveling boards. Bathrooms were messy, looked like they were rarely cleaned, mini golf was a dump, play areas were not bad but had a real fine sand on the ground that got into everything. Campfire pits were junk and way too small, also really close to your neighbor. Owners were nice but since the overall campground was a dump, I wouldn't stay there again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The park seems geared towards seasonal reservations. Most campsites looked permanent or difficult to get into unless a tent or popup. No restroom/bathhouse except at the front gate which is a LONG walk. Men's restroom only had one stall, one urinal and one shower. Big tree at the front entrance if you're not careful, will require you to back up. It supposedly has a pool, but we didn't see one. Our sites was very muddy, as was most of the area (not well drained) around us. No garbage cans were on display except for the overflowing dumpster on the way out. They did escort us to the site and helped us back in since it was dark and raining. There are better places to stay in the area that are only a few dollars more and provide better access. We camped here in a Motorhome.
