This wooded and cramped campground needs to decide if it is going to be a seasonal only campground or if it wants to attract more families. The sites are not very level, the hookups are on the wrong side at half of the sites, and there is a pile of trashed picnic tables at the far end. The pool is small and older, not filthy but not clean either. Few services are provided (there is only one dumpster) without fee, including the "pay extra for air conditioning" fee. The office is open a few hours a week. The volleyball court is overgrown with grass, the playground equipment is fair at best, and the roads are tight for a larger rig. The wildlife is nice, though; we heard an owl on several occasions and the locusts were out in force. The other wildlife we saw was a two inch cockroach that crawled across the basketball court. If the daily rate was $8 lower, this review rate would be five points higher. Save your money and go elsewhere; this is not a sufficient base camp for attractions. We won't be coming back. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
