A friend of ours recommended Prince Gallitzen as it is one of their favorite places to camp with their family. We have now camped here twice and it is definitely going to be a regular spot for us. It's clean, beautiful, and plenty of rustic fun. It's a very large campground, but the lots are fairly spacious. Like all state campgrounds, it's lacking full hookups, swimming pools, and other such amenities, but it's worth the trade-offs. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
If you are looking for a nice, quiet, family friendly campground, this is it. Campsites have plenty of room, restrooms are clean and the staff is friendly. The campground has daily activities and there is also a lake and boat rentals at the campground. The playground isn't much, just a few swings and a volleyball court, but our family loves this campground. We stay here a few times a year. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
We have stayed here several times. It is a nice clean state park. The restrooms were very well kept. Very friendly staff. We had electric hookups but no water or sewer hookups. Filled up at park entrance dumped when leaving park. They do have a dump station. Lots of hiking and biking to do. OK camp store. They have camp hosts to help you out with any problems with the park. We will stay again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
