Quiet and isolated. Drive in could be a problem for bigger units. Campsite is on top of a small round top hill. There was a trail that circles the campsite that was actually the boundary between the hunt-no hunt areas of the park, in other words it was the firing line. We passed a couple of hunters during our evening hike. Enjoyed our stay but we were really glad the park office had flush toilets and hot water. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a nice, safe, quiet campground. No permanents. The bathrooms were nice and clean. It is located in shady Ryerson Park. There are trails for hiking, swimming pool and a small lake about 1/2 mile down the road.It is patrolled regularly by park rangers. A good place to relax. We camped here in a camper.
