Park road to office had a warning sign about dusty roads and there were potholes as well. Friendly and helpful staff who warned me about a stock car race nearby happening the next night. I would have booked for one night, but being a weekend it was a 2 night minimum. We could have moved on, but most of the other campgrounds in the area have the same policy. The rates here are more reasonable than the campgrounds in Cavendish. Our site was a gravel/grass pull-through that required leveling. Table and fire ring included. Trees at the front of the campsite make it awkward to exit forward. No cable TV, but found 3 digital channels off the antenna. The transient sites are fairly open so satellite TV reception is possible. Wi-Fi link strong, but lack of bandwidth slowed down internet or even dropped out at times. Laundry has 3 washers and 3 dryers. Each takes 2 loonies. Wife says both work fine, but the washers bounced around on the flimsy floor which even had a few holes in it. Good for a couple of nights, but I wouldn't stay any longer. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very friendly owners and nicely run campground. Good location to explore just about all of PEI. Close to Charlottetown, Cavendish, Rustico, National Parks, etc... About half the sites are seasonal. Unlike some other campgrounds in Canada, the owners of this property have taken care to make sure that the seasonal occupants are of good quality and well behaved (sorry, no good way to make this point.) The only "ding" is the location of a local 1/4 mile oval race track to the south which has races nearly every Saturday during the summer. Usually, if the wind is not directly from the south you'd hardly know they were there, but if the wind is strong and from the south you will notice them. But it's over in three hours or so and the rest of the experience more than makes up for this. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We had a great time touring the area and played some golf. The owners are friendly and helpful, they even had a concert on Saturday night with a local band and singer, they were very good. We were told about the noise from the races, but it wasn't that bad. We had a great time and definitely would return. Beautiful countryside. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
