Location, Location, Location. This park is 1 mile from the beach and 3 miles from downtown. Not much to do at the park. We stayed over July 4th, and could bike to the Cliff Walk, the Mansions and downtown. Sites were small to say the least, I could not pull out my awning because it hit the slide out next to us. Not for big rigs, we are 30 ft and barely fit. Charged $ 5.00 per AC unit adn $5.00 for electric water heater. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The campground was easy to find, but tight to enter. The sites were very small, my awning rested on the slides of the RV next to me. This was a campground of NO. No pets, AC was $5.00 per unit, Electric Hot Water was $5.00 and no facilities. The campground was clean. The redeeming value was the location. It was .4 miles from First Beach and less than 1 mile from downtown. Not kid friendly, but if you want to stay in Newport, this is a good place. We camped here in a Motorhome.
