The park is about 16 miles from Clarksville TN, they offer discounts if you select a canoe package. We did not do the canoeing though. Sites were fairly level. There are sites close to the water and ones up away from the river. We chose the sites away from the river because they seemed more level and you wouldn't have a problem with bugs. We stayed a week here all in all an OK place to stay just too far from things for me. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
