This is a nice park and we have stayed there many times. The problems we see are they need to address the pot holes and the low lying areas that hold so much water thus mud. The sites are level and all the utilities work well. The staff is very friendly. We'll stay there again when in the area We camped here in a Motorhome.

Super friendly check in people. Great pull through sites, full hook ups. Close to interstate. Clean park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

"Paved" entry road is a joke...full of potholes and speed bumps every 50'. Site had minimal amount of gravel on it, and since it had been raining day before we arrived, ground was saturated. Pull-thru site is so narrow, that once you pull out slides, you are forced to walk on grass to get to your vehicle. Stepping into "grass" lead to mud up over the sides of your shoes. Even after not raining for 3 days, mud was still there. You were forced to walk on wood planks that outlined the gravel site. We will not stay there again until things improve. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Good Sam Rate. Torrential rains have not been kind to the Camping World CG. When we arrived about half the CG was flooded and there was standing water in many of the occupied sites, in the low spots. The CG is closed to all but those having service or repairs done on RV's. They don't take reservations and check-in is done at the Camping World store at the check stands. Campers are given a packet and referred to the CG host. The host is helpful and friendly. Services and retailers are close by, food market directly across the highway. Quiet time 10PM to 8AM was not enforced and our last night an old converted bus Class A came into the CG after 11:30P and drove around twice before parking near the gate. At 6:45AM the next morning he drove through the CG and into the site next to us where he proceeded with set-up and unloading his motorcycle from the trailer. This will be a pleasant CG when the water recedes and rules are followed. We would return in the future if in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice campground. Next to Camping World. Absolutely close to everything in Chattanooga. Across the street from a grocery store and good flea market. Easy in/out. Easy on/off I-75. Our rig is 45' and had no problem. Arrive early for a 50 amp and big rig site. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Stayed here five nights. As stated by others, very accessible to most all Chattanooga sights. Was very quiet every night except Friday when racetrack was operating, but was tolerable. Camp host was extremely helpful. Camping World helped with Good Sam discount. Good 50 amp service. Will stay again if in area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I had high hopes for Raccoon Mountain RV Park & Campground but we pulled in and my hopes were quickly dashed. I felt like I was in the back woods. The park was set up real strange. Part of it was on one side of the highway and the pool and most of the activities were located across the highway. The office staff was not very friendly when we arrived. We got to our site and it was gravel and un-level. There are a lot of long term campers in this park. They just have them located further down the hill. The park claims to have Wi-Fi but we could never get it to work. The batting cages and the go carts were also not working. The workout room was locked up and the laundry room only had 2 washers and 2 dryers and there were tons of tent campers at this facility. Needless to say, the washers and dryers were never available. Raccoon Mountain has caves adjoining their campground and I think that is their main focus $$$ and the campground was an afterthought. This park is old and needs repair. We will not camp here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

It seemed like I was bother to them when I called asking about an available campsite. The actual check in process confirmed my impression. The park is in a great location with great scenery. However, the bathrooms and shower area was not clean and the size of the showers are a joke. You basically have the shower stall and then maybe two feet of tile to the privacy curtain. No small bench or anything to set your stuff on. Wouldn't stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Rate is discounted for PA-AM, but still expensive. Restrooms need renovating, pool was filthy. Laundry was under renovation, weeks behind schedule, and filthy when finished. Staff unhelpful and disinterested. Do not stay here. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
