Cages Bend is a wonderful, peaceful campground. Some of the campsites have great water views. There is no sewer (Core of Engineers Park) but the environment makes up for it. They do have a dump station. One problem is that the directions to the campground are not sufficient to find it without knowing the area. We got half price for camping with the Senior Pass. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground on Old Hickory Lake. It's located just a few miles outside Nashville. The campground offers 43 sites with electric and water hook ups. There is a playground, a group pavillon, a dump station, a boat launch, and laundry facilities. there is no swim area. The bath houses were clean. The interior road is a little narrow but is paved. Most of the sites are large tiered sites with table, fire ring, lamp holder on fine gravel pads. They have a few sites that have all concrete pads. There is a lot of grassy area with mature trees, not heavy woods, but plenty of shade. We were very pleased with this campground and would return . We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Our favorite campground! Always quiet. We have been camping here for over 15 years and the only problem is this campground has become so popular it's hard to get a space. Lots of room between campsites. Level gravel and some concrete sites. There is no store, however you are about 10 minutes away from Gallatin & Hendersonville. There is a boat ramp with a small dock next door. We usually buy some bait on our way up and fish off the dock. We will return again and again! We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
