We camped here because it was late and other campgrounds were too expensive. Sites were very close together and in the dark it was very unattractive. The people in the fiver next to us slept with windows open in case anyone in the park decided to help themselves to any of his truck equipment. Ground very uneven. Several permanent trailers. Ladies' restroom satisfactory but men's restroom had no paper and one toilet rocked on its base. With our air running we could not hear the road noise. Power to our site went off shortly after our alarm clock at 7:15 AM. Would not stay here again by choice. It was a place to crash after a horrible day trying to get away on our month-long trip with our grandsons. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
If you love road noise and the sound of jake-brakes, stay here. I-40 is about 200 feet from the campground. Yes, the staff was friendly. Yes, the restrooms were acceptable (except for running out of paper products). Yes, the sites were easily accessible but, no, this is not a very good place to stay. The buildings are run-down, and there are many homesteading trailers which are less than attractive. We would not stay here again, and would recommend that you drive down the road a ways and find another campground. The new owner says he's fixing it up but it will take a while to get it up to par, and unless he builds a 50' high wall between the campground and I-40 you're going to live with lots of noise. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Four Seasons Campground is under new ownership as of 2009. Free Wi-Fi & Cable TV. Very helpful service. Gravel and paved roads. Very Clean. Website has a good description. We camped here in a Motorhome.
