Sites were very narrow; our neighbor had a screen room that came to the very edge of our site. When our slide room was out it was within a inch of the screen room. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Friendly staff. Found the shower room design a bit different with somewhat of a commons area to enter the showers. Showers are individual rooms with lockable doors and roomy enough. One of the better campgrounds we've stayed at. Has a nice area for entertainment (gospel music the night we were there). Would stay there again. The grounds were nice and seemed to be well cared for at least the part we saw during the one night there. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Our motorhome was stolen from this KOA campground! No joking- in July of 2003 we paid for a spot at this campground and told the lady that checked us in at the front desk that we would be leaving our motorhome in our spot for about three weeks while we ran home to Branson, MO with our truck. She assured us that it would be okay to leave our motorhome there, locked up in the spot that we paid for. We made sure that she had our home and cell phone numbers if they needed to get in contact with us for any reason. Two days before we were to leave Branson, MO to head back to Kodak, TN to get our motorhome from the KOA campground, we got a call from the Sevierville, TN police department. They said that our motorhome had been sitting in a vacant lot by a motel for almost three weeks and the motel maintenance man finally walked over and checked it out to find the door had been pried open and the inside was totally ransacked. The Knoxville East KOA never contacted us to let us know that our motorhome had disappeared from our rented spot. It must have been hotwired and taken within 24 hours of our check-in and they (the KOA) never thought it was strange that we paid for three weeks?!!? The lady desk clerk that checked us in mysteriously did not work there any longer. The owners shrugged off any responsibility and said they are not responsible for any lost or stolen items from their campground. Okay, I can understand a beach towel – but this was our whole MOTORHOME! Don’t stay here unless you want to deal with your insurance company for the next three months! We camped here in a Motorhome.
