The price listed reflects the “Golden Age Card” discount for COE campgrounds. The campground was very nice and would probably have gotten a higher rating if not for the entry road. The park is about 8 miles from I-40 on a narrow winding 2-lane road. That was not so bad but just after crossing the Center Hill Lake Dam you turn down a VERY steep hill with a right angle turn at the bottom. Be warned you need to be in 1st gear for this hill! The campground is at the foot of the dam and the surrounding cliffs and woods are lovely. Sites 56 & 57 are our favorites. We camped here in a Motorhome.
