The park seems to be new and is well maintained. We called about an hour out and were met by the campground host, who helped set up our trailer. They even put our awning in for us when we were away from the site and storm blew in. We only stayed 2 nights, but most of the other residents seem to be longer term. There is a fair amount of train traffic nearby, but we ran a fan all night and that seemed to cover it well enough. We would come back again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is the "other Quiet Texas RV park" which is 12 miles west of the one in Hondo. Same ownership, same friendly service, and only a little more train noise than the other one. We have really enjoyed it. The park is not as modern as the one in Hondo, but we loved it all the same. Large sites, very friendly neighbors, excellent dining in the town. Very near to Hondo (12 miles), and Uvalde (34 miles) to the west. No restroom or laundry on site, but we are self contained so no problem. Two really good restaurants, not far to the hill country, what's not to like? We stayed here for 6 weeks and will stay there again.
We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
