Good facilities and incredibly friendly people make this park feel like home. During the Winter Texan season there are so many activities, it is like a cruise ship. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Excellent clothing optional resort, with good paved interior roads and great people and staff. The Wi-Fi was all but nonexistent, only a hit and miss proposition but that was the only negative, we will be going back in January. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Sandpipers Resort is a clothing-optional resort located in SW Texas near the Mexican border. The regular rate is $40 with a 50% discount for Passport America members. We paid $20. The park offered extensive grassy areas and paved access to sites. The pool, toilets, and showers were clean and bright. New tennis courts were inviting and well-maintained. Management was helpful and informative. This is a good place to lay up before crossing into Mexico We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice little park to use as a base for traveling to the RGV. It is peaceful as advertised on the site but it's not necessarily quiet due to road noise on Route 281. We were in a site furthest from the highway but traffic noise was still disconcerting at first. You do get used to it, though. This campground is about 30 miles from the Mission/McAllen area so it's out of the hustle/bustle/traffic of that area but is only a short drive away. We would stay here again and would recommend it to others. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
