This is a very nice, very shaded park but only 20 sites so reservations are necessary. Some of the sites are not very level so choose wisely. There are trails that go down to the lake and 50a and waterfront sites (not really on the water) must be asked for but the rate is the same. I was told that the fishing is very good on this lake due to it being a power plant lake and the water is warm. On the 2nd weekend of the month it is market days in Fayetteville. There is free bluegrass music in the gazebo late in the afternoon in the town square. La Grange is very close and has a state historical site that is worth visiting. We will definitely go back soon. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
