This park is for long term tenants. We were allowed to stay 2 nights because there was an empty space. Sites are covered and utilities are good, even Wi-Fi. The owners are very nice. Over 55 gets a 10% discount. We would stay again if just passing through and if you are, I would call to verify a space. The owner told me he did not encourage overnighters. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a super clean small park with the nicest owners you'd ever want to meet. Each restroom has its own shower that is immaculate. There's a fenced dog area as well as some covered spaces. The property also extends down to Lake Palestine. The owner offers satellite service with all of his own equipment for only $25 per month--what a deal. I highly recommend this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great RV campground at Lake Palestine. Relatively new. Has good sized sites, newer electric, water and sewer hookups. Cable TV was coming, but not yet there. We stayed there for a 3 day weekend while visiting family. The site we had was a back-in at the front of the campground for short term stays. The sites were covered in smooth river gravel and easy to walk on. No fire rings and no picnic tables, just basic level sites with good utilities. There were a lot of seasonal campers, some full timers, and some construction workers settled in for monthly rentals. The campground was clean and quiet. They had a great grass covered and fenced dog park area, new laundry and shower rooms and were slowly improving and expanding. The owners live on site and are great to deal with. They only take checks or cash and give a 10% senior discount. Rates were $25.00 daily, $150.00 weekly and $275.00 + elec. monthly. They are across highway from Emerald Bay on Lake Palestine, close to services, fishing, sailing, golf, etc. We find it very convenient and will stay there again for sure. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Still under construction. Open for self contained units. Good paved roads and large gravel sites. Bathrooms, showers, laundry, office and recreation room still under construction. They will have tent camping, rental units, boat launch, fishing, water/electric only sites, dump station, and other attractions as they complete each phase of the campground. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
