The wash rooms are just as bad as the last post says. We did not have the fire ant problem, but we were doubled onto a larger concrete site, where we were back to back with a motor home. The owner has added a bunch of new white rock to hold down the dust that is described in the last post. We were on some of that new rock. We were very glad to find this park as it was late and we just needed an overnight on our way to RGV. For the price you got about what you paid for. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Friendly people but a very basic park. Washrooms were dirty, old and mildew loaded. Very dusty. When I left I had to wash my truck and trailer. The site was also full of fire ants and sand burs. For an overnight stay it was sufficient. I would not stay here long term. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Gravel roads, pull through with concrete pads at most sites. Lots of distance between sites. Good place to stop, inexpensive. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed here on way to RVG in a Motorhome. Everything worked well and park is well kept. There was not anybody monitoring the park, we had to put money in envelope and box as owners weren't there. Good and reasonable price park for overnight stay or short visit to the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
