Beautiful park on Toledo Bend lake surrounded on 3 sides by water. Most sites on water, tree shade, cabins and motel to rent. Store on premises, restaurant soon. Covered marina and dry storage. Two free cement boat ramps. Easy access on FM 3121.Campground , restrooms and showers very clean. Most sites level. Coin op laundry. Owners and employee's very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our week there in travel trailer. Daily rate was 21.00 with cable TV. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Was very disappointed in this park. Photos you see on their web site are not what the park actually looks like. Roads are extremely narrow, tight turns, low hanging branches and wires. Roads are very rutted and hard to negotiate. At one point, I had to get up on top of our 42 ft. 5th wheel with a broom to lift low hanging wires off our AC units. Check-in is at the small convenience store/gas station. No one accompanied us to our site, and there is no map of the park for "self navigation". Lots of rundown mobile homes, rundown RVs, junk cars, etc. sitting around. Clientele left a lot to be desired. Intended to stay overnight, but left after circling the park in an attempt to find our site. Would not recommend this park at all. It was easy to find off the main road. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a delightful, shady place to stay. The owners live on-site and are friendly and helpful. It's located on Toledo Bend lake and has a boat ramp too. We had wonderful breezes and a nice view of water, trees, and wildlife. There is a dog-walking field (must keep your dog on a leash). There is also a little store and restaurant in front on the highway. They also rent cabins. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
