This is an excellent park with a lovely setting on the Llano River. All sites are pull-thru and spacious. There are no trees or shrubs but there is lots of grass and the sites are separated by attractive rocks. The sites are terraced down towards the river. We had an end site next to the river that had a large concrete pad. Only a few sites have pads. Apparently the park has recently added WiFi, which was free and very good. They do not offer Cable TV but provide a few channels of satellite TV from DirecTV, which we were told would hook up to cable/satellite TV connections in newer model RVs. We have our own DirecTV so did not attempt to use theirs. The office/lobby/kitchen is a large, attractive well-equipped room with a porch facing the river. There is river access for fishing and swimming and there are some picnic tables set up next to the river. Each RV site has a picnic table as well. The camp hosts who manage the place are very friendly and helpful. The nearby town of Mason is picturesque. We would return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Came here because of previous reviews. Was not disappointed at all. Had concern because of all the rain recently, 20 plus inches, so I called and spoke with Rick. He said spaces were available and I told him it would be around 7:00 - 7:30 p.m. when we would arrive. He said that would not be a problem. It was closer to 8:30 p.m. when we arrived, and he opened up the office and checked us in. Park has access to the Llano River--be sure to wear sun screen!!! We did not use the showers/restroom facilities, but assume they are as nice as the office/lobby area. We will definitely be back, probably in two weeks!!! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This park is a real sleeper. It is only about two years old and everything is very nice. The people that run the park are friendly and helpful. Even though there is no wireless internet, there are high-speed ethernet connections at many of the sites and they are free. While this is a good spot to stop on the way north from the Texas Valley, it would also be a great place to come and stay for a while. It is close to many of the hill country attractions. We definitely plan to return for an extended stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This was my third stay at this park. It just keeps getting better and better. Clean showers, clean restrooms, very clean park all the way around. The view of the river is wonderful. The owners are like family to me now. I look forward to seeing them again in a few weeks. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Park was new and was just opened. Managenent does not seem to have a good grasp of running an RV park. Sites are not level, took three inches to level from side to side. The showers are almost unusable. The shower heads hang straight down from the ceiling like nothing I have ever seen before. Beautiful location, and has a lot of potential.
