Spent four months here in 2009. Extremely well organized park. Many activities, Indoor and outdoor pool. Great people having fun, day and night. Pet area is limited but well maintained. The price is higher than many but the amenities and people make it a bargain. Free Wi-fi is available anytime but you must take your lap-top into the Friendship Hall. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a beautiful park. The landscaping around the outdoor pool area is beautiful. There is also an indoor pool. There are many things to do, including dancing, shuffleboard, ceramics, a sewing room, tennis courts, horseshoes, woodworking shop, a place to make stained glass, etc. There are always lots of activities going on. Their management people are very friendly and helpful. I was also impressed with how friendly everyone in the whole park was. After looking at parks all over the Rio Grande Valley last winter (2007), this was my absolute favorite. So that's where we'll be this winter!! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Clarification: The Nightly Rate is based on a month's stay. WiFi is at a cost from a service provider. Cable is available at a few sites at the perimeter of the park, next to a busy road. This park is WAY WAY past its prime... grounds, buildings, etc are in need of improvement in cleanliness, maintenance & upgrading. Of the 3 washroom/shower facilities, only one's cleanliness is passable. The park caters to regulars who return each year for the winter.... lots & lots of park models, quite a few are 'run down' Compared to other Wilder Resorts we've visited in the valley, one has to wonder why this one is so neglected. Maybe, this is why this park has so many vacancies while most other parks in the area have very few. The only good thing that I can say is that there are plenty of activities, especially if you are into dancing & crafts. If they had any flexibility on refunds for pre-paid periods, we would have been out of here weeks ago. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a large RV and MH resort park. There are many permanent residents. Most sites are back in of a reasonable size. Full hookups plus cable were available. Wi-Fi is provided by 3rd party, so costs are incurred. Very large pool with 2 hot tubs area. There are numerous activities in the winter season. The facilities include a Large activity and entertainment complex. Staff were friendly. Bring a bike or golf cart with you to get around. It is close to McAllen shopping, restaurants and medical facilities. Security was good. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is our third year at this park. There are so many activities you will never be bored! The people who stay here as well as the park employees are so friendly. We highly recommend this park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The people who winter in this campground are without a doubt the friendliest around. The campground and the resident volunteers provide more activities than any other campground we have experienced. No reason to be bored here. The sites are a little tight, especially the ones with trees. The cable TV leaves a little to be desired. But overall we would not hesitate to stay here again.
