Clarification: The Nightly Rate is based on a month's stay. WiFi is at a cost from a service provider. Cable is available at a few sites at the perimeter of the park, next to a busy road. This park is WAY WAY past its prime... grounds, buildings, etc are in need of improvement in cleanliness, maintenance & upgrading. Of the 3 washroom/shower facilities, only one's cleanliness is passable. The park caters to regulars who return each year for the winter.... lots & lots of park models, quite a few are 'run down' Compared to other Wilder Resorts we've visited in the valley, one has to wonder why this one is so neglected. Maybe, this is why this park has so many vacancies while most other parks in the area have very few. The only good thing that I can say is that there are plenty of activities, especially if you are into dancing & crafts. If they had any flexibility on refunds for pre-paid periods, we would have been out of here weeks ago. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is our third year at this park. There are so many activities you will never be bored! The people who stay here as well as the park employees are so friendly. We highly recommend this park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The people who winter in this campground are without a doubt the friendliest around. The campground and the resident volunteers provide more activities than any other campground we have experienced. No reason to be bored here. The sites are a little tight, especially the ones with trees. The cable TV leaves a little to be desired. But overall we would not hesitate to stay here again. This is a very friendly and convenient campground with lots of official and unofficial activities (block parties for instance). The management provides many amenities not usually provided such as a bus for group transportation (free), free golf on the properties course, tennis balls for the organized events, BBQ grills for group activies and many more. There are shaded and open sites all with full hook-ups even for the largest rig. Being near McAllen, there are plenty of outside activites and good shopping. Wifi does however cost. Having stayed at several valley campgrounds, we found this one to be a cut above. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
