Very nice, quiet, large city park. We were the only RV during our 2 night weekday stay. Park is well maintained and well lighted. Staff is very friendly. A visit to the Spoetzl Brewery is a nice feature if you like beer. We would stay here again and re-visit the brewery! We camped here in a Motorhome.
A beautiful, very well maintained city park with 12 RV sites. 8 with full hook up and 4 with water & electric. 30 amp only. There is over a 100 acres here with fishing and nice playground. Pay at the city hall in town. All RV sites are "paired" sites. Two sites very close together. Each paired site is well separated from the other, so if you are the only one in your paired site it is nice. If a stranger is sharing the paired site it is very close. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This campground was very clean, some sites you will need a 50 foot water hose and at least a 30 foot sewer hose but when we were there nobody was there so it was very nice. The sites are side by side so you will be very close to your neighbor. Its OK for a one night stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a very nice city-owned park that happens to have a few RV hookups. It's very clean. There is not a office on-site. On weekends - check-in is at the police station which is just a few blocks away. We were the only over-night campers the night we stayed. We felt a little uneasy, however, when we got up in the morning and realized we had left our truck windows down and found everything still in place, we knew it was a very safe location. If you want to camp out and enjoy the park, it's a great location. Would be nice for a group/family stay or reunion. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Lovely, clean, quiet county park. Gates close around mid-night and reopen at 6:00 AM. We consider this one of the best RV parks we have been to. It only has 30 Amp electric service. Shiner Brewery is around two miles away. They give free tours of the brewery and free samples of their beers. I found out about the park by simply by typing in Shiner, Texas, on Google. This park will definitely be on our list as we go through Texas. We camped here in a Motorhome.
