Rustic motif describes the look, and mostly permanent residences describes the tenants (all very friendly). This is the only RV park site we've stayed in which had a covered/sheltered (rustic) picnic table. Easy to park in and leave with a 36' MH towing an SUV. We were in the space next to the bathrooms and showers. The food in the "authentic" Mexican restaurant (Maria's) was outstanding not to mention close (on the other side of the bathroom/showers building from us). The owners were very helpful and friendly. The rate shown is Passport America (good for two days) and is the reason we found and chose it. The area has small town attractions and apparently hosts elk hunters during the season. The drive east on Hwy 153 to Puffer Lake which is 22 mi from Beaver (elev 6000') is pleasant, winding and worth the trip up over 10,000'. A small Flying-J at the north exit off I-15 and another small truck stop just south of it on the way in. There's a good vet across from the KOA in the north end of town. You might want to ask about a weekly rate if you wanted to go somewhere to hide and relax for a week. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great value for the money, rate shown is Passport America. Fairly tight, but then price is low. Note that the GPS coordinates are off, if you use one you'll pass right on by. Local Mexican restaurant also very good and pleasant. Only negative: when leaving space through the trees was so tight that I ended up with several long scratches down the side of my MH. Did inform management; maybe its been fixed. We camped here in a Motorhome.
What can you say? This is a funky rustic park mainly used by "permanent" residents. Everyone was friendly and the park was clean and everything worked. It's a fine one-nigher and short stay (while visiting Great Basin, like we did). We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Passport rate of $9.50 paid. Not that bad of a place, very friendly people. We spent two nights. The hookups, water, 30 amp & sewer were all in good shape and laid out nicely. It is not a high end park by any means, but clean and in a good area. This is Utah farm country. The park is nestled between a horse field and a cow pasture and that worked just fine for us. Better than being behind a large box store. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stay here twice a year, every year. It is quaint and rustic, and we love it. It is not high end, but clean, quiet, and reasonable. There is a small, intimate restaurant with tons of character that has the best Mexican food north of Arizona. The price is Passport rate. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a small campground with mostly permanent residents, or folks who lease out a site and use it as a vacation destination. “Park Models” would not be a word I would use to describe these permanent/vacation sites, since all of the rigs onsite were fifth wheels or motorhomes. We stayed here enroute during our trip. The park accepts Passport America and is located on a quiet street. We had a pullthru which was perfectly adequate for our 30’ fifth wheel. The park was not officially opened, so there was only electric and sewer available and we were the only travelers in the park. (We called ahead and were told to fill up with water before arriving). Consider eating at the Mexican restaurant onsite. Food is homemade and delicious. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Small campground with mostly permanent sites-park models, etc. OK for one night. No 50amp service. We stayed here because it is Passport America and the cost was $9.00. Somewhat tight, but we were able to get a pullthru. The owner is very nice and there is a great mexican restaurant on the site run by his wife, who is from mexico. We stayed in a motorhome. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This campground is within a mile of I-15, close enough to be convenient yet far enough away from the highway to avoid traffic noise. Unfortunately, it is located on a county road which seems to be a favorite route for individuals driving vehicles with loud or no mufflers. Fortunately, this annoyance ceases soon after dark. The owners were pleasant and willing to go out of their way to be helpful. The park’s major drawback is the rate. As seems to be typical of KOA parks, the price asked far exceeds the services provided, particularly during the off season in a non-destination location. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We came in because of high wind on I-15. We didn't use wifi, but broadband access was very good. Restrooms were very very clean, though old. The rate reflects KOA discount and use of VIP points. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Very large, level site with plenty of room and pleasant views. Well maintained campground and Staff (particularly TOM) very friendly and extremely helpful. This is a benchmark for how campgrounds should be run! Would definitely recommend a stay her for a few days as there are local sites to see. Wi-Fi and Cable TV worked well. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed here for one night on our way back home, the park sits away from the freeway which makes it very quiet. They need more trees, The best thing is the water, we really suggest that you fill your tank and water containers here for the water is excellent. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I've stayed at this campground several times while travelling on I-15, and would continue to choose it as a stopping off point in this area. The campground is nicely landscaped with a small brook bordering the edge of the campground. Wireless internet is free, and worked well. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and even walked out to make sure I easily found the right site. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Very nice park. Good space between sites. Office staff very nice, and helpful. Small store on site, but takes care of basic needs. Close to I-15. Good pull thru sites---for tow car or big 5th wheels. Nice place to stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a nice place to stop heading South or North on I-15. Park is clean, and the pull throughs allow easy access and plenty of room to keep the toad hooked up. Wi-Fi is great and free; in fact I am using it to do this review. Dog area is right beside the office, and the dogs appreciate the grass and clean area. Also Good Sam card is accepted. This is a quiet place. It's off the freeway. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice place to stay. We extended our stay by 2 days to rest thanks to the friendly campground owners and hosts. There are very friendly and helpful. Very easy exit on and off I-15. No road noise. They have done a lot of improvements from last year ( quicker Wi-Fi, 50 amp hook ups under the shade trees). A great place to stay 1 night or several nights. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This id one of the better run KOAs, The sites are all pull through with room between sites. It is a great place to stay while site seeing in the area. There's a play ground for the kids. There are lots of ATV trails in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
It snowed the night we stayed here. There were a few tree limbs down in the morning to add to the slow departure from the park. The staff was very helpful and concerned about damage and making sure everyone was taken care of. The helped everyone shovel the snow off their slides and roofs. This park had easy access and a nice play area for the kids. The store was well stocked and the clerk was very nice. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great park especially after a long drive. Easy access from the Fwy. The people that work here are great and very helpful. Large pull-thrus, full hook-ups, cable TV and great wi-fi (free). Will stop here again when passing thru. The only reason for the 9 rating is the 32.00 rate even with discount I thought was a little high, but everything is high now. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice park. Excellent WIFI at no cost. Pull thrus are great, no need to unhook. Only negative was a full time camper's dog who constantly barked. This was our second time at this park and will stay again as we pass thru. Nice job on the patio's and fire pits. Easy access from I-15 We camped here in a Motorhome.
The park itself is very nice with good access from the freeway and large, long sites for big rig parking. The big negative is that it is close to a feed lot or dairy, and the smell is very strong with a north breeze. That is the only reason we could not give a higher rating. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
You can tell that this place used to be a dump. You can see that the new owners are REALLY trying to make the park nice. Beautiful brick like picnic table pads have been added. New gravel has been added and there are lots of new trees planted. The park has some nice views that are interrupted by farm equipment and broken down trucks. There is nothing the owners can do to remedy this. If the put up a big fence it will also block the mountain view. The rate is not really good value at $33 but I cannot blame the owners. In order to improve this park they need to charge a little bit aggressive rates. Still not too high though. Pool was clean, bathrooms clean. Staff (owners?) were friendly. I give this park a good rating and it will be even nicer to visit next year. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Nice older park with new owners. We only stayed one night as we were passing through on our way north. The grass was not as green as it could of been, but I think the new owners are really trying to make a difference. The campground had EXCELLENT access to I-15. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
New owners trying to get place in shape. Apparently cg was let go by previous owners. Owners very cooperative and pleasant. Probably a good place to stay overnight but not long-term. We stayed one night and the only thing that really bothered us was the foul odor coming from cattle nearby. From all appearances nothing to do in surrounding area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park is not maintained (trees not trimmed, grass not watered, weeds everywhere). We paid, then got a refund. Just could not bring ourselves to stay there. We camped here in a camper.
We agree with previous reviewer. This park is convenient to I-15 and is quiet and our space was a nice pull-through. It probably once was a great place to stay, but hasn't been maintained. We had 30 amp electric, which was marginal at best. Dogs were allowed to run free and not cleaned up after. Lots of permanent residents with no regard for the speed limit. The game room was non-existent. The laundry room was dirty and smelled bad. The rest rooms and showers were dirty. We did stay a week, but weren't there much. Our daily rate reflects a weekly rate. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
The good - easy freeway access without any freeway noise. The owners were easy to work with, helpful and very friendly. The sites were easy to pull into. The bad - really run down, dirty, dog poop all over, weeds everywhere, and picnic tables falling apart. This campground has great bones if someone would just give it a huge dose of TLC. Also, a lot of extended stay trailers and RVs while we were there made it feel even more run down. We wanted to stay here again, but will look for another spot that is clean and nice. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We spent one night here. The campground is just ok, but not very well kept up. There were huge weeds growing around the sewer connection. Couldn't imagine staying here longer unless I had things to do in the area. The owner charged us $35 less $2 discount for mentioning internet page. Wouldn't say why it was more but it was Labor Day weekend. Pretty quiet at night. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Easy access off the I-15 which was the only good attribute to this campground. Sites are not level and narrow. Lots of permanent residents that do not take pride of ownership of there site or rig. Price high for an overnight at this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed here for a night each way on our trip to Arches. The park looks to be an older park with several permanent residences set up. Our site was a pull thru on the end of a row each time we were here. The sites are "back to back" hookups. We didn' use any of the facilities as this was an overnight stop only. Andy the owner on the place is nice and quite helpful with answers to questions about the area. As an overnight stop, this place met our needs for electric and quiet. We will stay here again if we need an overnight stop on our journey. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Its an old rv park, definitely not a "10" park. We ask for a satellite site but didn't get it. There were too many trees. It is not big rig friendly in my book. It was pretty full of travel trailers and fifth wheels that appeared to be full time renters. It worked for an overnight stop but we will probably look around next time. The owner is very friendly thus a "5". We camped here in a Motorhome.
Easy on and off I 15 at exit 109. We came in late and had an easy pull through. Nice shade trees and grass. A cute general store. Restrooms and showers are clean and we used their cute, clean laundry room. The owner and his wife and son were very nice. A relaxed atmosphere. A pleasant surprise. We will be back. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We were here before the trees had leafed out, so it was pretty open. The sites are long and level, most are side-by-side hookups. There is some grass at most sites. The southern end sites have fairly good satellite access. The park was fairly empty but appeared clean and tidy. It was cold & rainy and we didn't check out the main buildings and game room. It's too early for the pool to be open. The area has fantastic ATV trails - the Paiute ATV Trail is 240 miles long, so this would be a good location. The owner was friendly and helpful. We'd stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
