This campground is in bad state of disrepair. It needs some TLC. The staff was very disorganized and it took almost 30 minutes to get checked in. The site that we were assigned (B1) is about the size of a postage stamp and several of the sites are "buddy" sites with very little room between the units. The only saving grace for this CG is that Bryce Canyon NP is absolutely beautiful. We were able to get wi-fi at our camper but most others in the CG did not. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is full of noisy Quads. It is geared for ATV users. Trails are accessable right from the camp site. The site we were assigned was level but small. The water and power were poorly located. The roads were dusty and the wash rooms were located far away at the Office/Service Station. For an ATV user, this place may be ideal. For us it was....not so much. We will never be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

My experience was opposite from the others who have left comments, and we stayed here for 4 days for the 4th of July. We have a 36ft class A and had no problems getting into our spot or driving in/out of the park. The down sides of the park were, no TV reception, no cable, satellite unable to work, and only 30 amps. However there were things we really enjoyed. The air was very clean & clear, nearly 8,000 feet in elevation, lots of beautiful large pine trees, you can hike into the forest right from the campground. This is a small park which was a nice change from the large busy parks with people racing around all the time. The small park environment was very welcomed by us, the spots are larger than most. The staff is very friendly. And even though it's a small park, there was an added bonus of a Chevron/market at the front which carried supplies. Just a short 5 minute walk down the country road was a restaurant to eat at. Lakes nearby offer fishing, close to Bryce Canyon entrance and plenty of back roads to explore. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The folks that checked us in lied about the rates at the other campground in the area. This "campground" is more aptly described as a trailer park. Gravel sites, no trees, bathrooms closed, and it is just an extension of the local trailer park. Old pickups cutting through at high speed, raising dust, absolutely unattractive. Rather stay in a rest area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We love the National Park Campgrounds and this one did not disappoint us. From your campsite you can walk to the rim and access several trails as well as get to the lodge and the visitors center. We made reservations because we have a big rig and were glad we did. Without a doubt we would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We love Bryce Canyon, and the North Campground is just great. This was our second stay here, and once again we had a wonderful stay, regrettably for only two nights. This campground is typical of our National Park campgrounds. Roads are paved, sites are gravel and most are reasonably level. Fresh water spigots are conveniently located close to most sites. All sites are an easy two minute walk to the canyon rim trail. There is a well stocked camp store within walking distance or a short drive. The park visitor's center is just down the hill. An older review I read stated that there were no big rig sites. I beg to differ. I saw several rigs in excess of 40' comfortably parked. You just need to arrive early and look around. We were surprised that the dump stations were not yet open, but there are dump stations available on your way out at the commercial campgrounds north of the Park entrance. We highly recommend a stay at Bryce Canyon at the North Campground. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed 3 nights. 30 amp power would have been nice as night temps were in the high 20s. Big sites, even for our 37'LOA 5er. Near empty even though first night was a weekend night. In park location & walking distance to canyon are big features. Can't complain about the rate either. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

After reading reviews from other posters we decided to give Ruby's a chance anyway. What a mistake. The roads in the park are dirt/gravel and are tight. Our site 119 was horrible although others looked the same. It was long but very narrow. The site itself wasn't level. The actual pad you park on was dirt/gravel and like an 8 foot wide mound that was higher than the rest of the site, putting about an extra 7 inches between the bottom step and the ground. The power and water pressure were good. There is no cable, but a few stations come in with the antennae. It was noisy, quiet time doesn't begin until 10:30 pm, and the park has lots of ATV riders. The rate was 43 per night and when I asked about Good Sam the clerk pointed to a sign on the wall that reads NO DISCOUNTS. All told we will never stay there again. Ruby's just isn't worth the money or the aggravation. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Clean tourist type campground right at the gate of Bryce Canyon National Park. A little pricey but we enjoyed hot showers and my daughter liked the pool and hot tub. Although security was friendly, the staff was rude to my 75 year old father who accidently washed his small shitzu dog in the wrong sink. He offered to re-sanitize it but was rebuffed by a staff member with a comment like "stupid people". This was probably just one bad employee but uncalled for and kind of shocking for a premium priced resort campground. Overall the experience was very good and the scenery was spactacular! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We paid summer rates, $48 per night. Office is open until 10 PM. Staff was courteous and helpful. We may have encountered the summer staff. Coming to Ruby's from the Northwest on highway 12, there are two stone arches at the entrance of Red Canyon that you must pass under. They have a height limit of 13 feet 6 inches. We have a tall Super-C camper on a Kodiak chassis with a Winegard covered satellite dish on top and we cleared. Parking is gravel and fairly level, but does require some adjustment. Not all sites have fire pits. The number of big rig sites are limited. Verizon works great. AT&T works if you hold your phone in the right position. Lots of pine trees, but no problems. Satellite reception was good. WiFi is fast and works well, but we were right behind the camping office. Large gift shop open until 10:30 PM at night. Restaurants are co-located there too. Lots of European visitors. It is a fair hike from the campground. Laundry rates are very reasonable $1.25 to wash $0.25 for 8 minutes of drying. Lots of kids with bicycles and ATVs. Temp was in the 50's and kids were swimming in the outdoor pool. Guess we hit the high season. Campers can also use the Best Western Motel indoor pool. National Park free shuttle stop is right by the RV Camping office. To visit Bryce Canyon we would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
