Spacious woodsy sites bordering on forest. Friendly long-term neighbors. Easy-access pull-throughs. Clean restrooms/showers. Older office staff seemed crotchety at first, but warmed up. Exception was the unpleasant young man who kicked me out of the laundry room exactly at the 9:00 PM closing time, when I needed only ten more minutes with the dryer; I knocked a point off my rating because of that encounter. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Located a few miles from Bryce Canyon National Park entrance, this is a nice place to stay. A rustic park (gravel/dirt roads/sites), it has a pleasant pine forest surrounding all the spaces. Hookups were in good condition. Some spaces are not particularly level -- a problem for us since our Class B (Roadtrek) does not have any leveling jacks, but by careful positioning in the space, we were able to be close enough to level. Rest rooms were clean, showers were smallish. They were in need of "temperature compensating valves" as a flush in either gender's rest room would cause wild water temperature variations. All sites had wooden picnic tables and fire rings (bring your own wood). Do not confuse this with the similar-named motel and restaurant across the street a few hundred yards to the east. I would consider staying here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Wi-Fi did not work at the sites. We had to go to the office to go online. They were working on a solution, we talked to the folks who do that work. Putting that aside, we would return for another visit. Nice and close to Bryce Canyon. There were a lot of children, dogs but all were contained and quiet at night. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The folks that checked us in lied about the rates at the other campground in the area. This "campground" is more aptly described as a trailer park. Gravel sites, no trees, bathrooms closed, and it is just an extension of the local trailer park. Old pickups cutting through at high speed, raising dust, absolutely unattractive. Rather stay in a rest area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

As mentioned elsewhere, no hookups and Park restrooms lacks showers. Verizon MiFi card did not really work. Bathrooms were clean if not terribly well appointed. I'm new to RV'ing so I find it a bit claustrophobic to have so many large vehicles intermingling with nature - it's not the kind of camping I grew up with. However, in comparison to Ruby's outside the park, this campground was positively "in nature" and as such, my favorite stop on our whirlwind tour. We expected more trouble getting a space; however we got into the park mid-day/mid week in late June and there were ample choices. Our RV was relatively small and maneuverable so it was easy to level the rig just by angling it correctly in the allocated space; others seem to have slightly more challenging conditions. We seemed to have stopped in Bryce in the high season and there was a fair amount of traffic and road noise, so there was no fantasy of being in remote wilderness. But, the location was good and the stars at night were brilliant. Just a short stroll from the campground entrance (10 mins max) to the trail-heads for some of the most popular hikes... and the park shuttle stops in front of the campground entrance, too. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Some sites were set aside for RV's and a few were pull-through. Typical NRA park with no facilities. Great place to stay when visiting the park. The camping fee does not include the $ 25 entrance fee. Prefer this to North Park. Would stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice campground, but might be difficult to find the right site for an RV. We stayed in space 52 on Loop B, which turned out to be great for our 24' RV. I would be surprised if a 40' could get in as is listed on recreation.gov shows. It is at the top of a hill with a slope downward away from the campsite. It is quite open and private away from the site. Overall, I liked Loop B better than Loop A but Loop B had fewer RV acceptable sites (which actually is probably why it is nicer). The site might get a little muddy during rain. It has a table and fire-ring with adjustable grate. The ground was quite level and I didn't need to adjust our RV to get a good level. The buses were not running at the time we visited so we had to drive our RV through the park. It wasn't too bad but slow. We camped here in a Motorhome.

At this time only loops A and B were open. They are very strict on the 8pm generator shut off. The dump station was not open yet. They put adaptors on the water so that you cannot hook up a hose to fill your tank (I used pliers and removed it temporarily to fill my fresh water tank). The location can't be beat. No showers available. The Verizon card worked well for WiFi. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed this National Park campground and were actually here 10 nights. Because this is a first come, first served, we stayed in Ruby's for one night and were at the gate at 8:00 the next morning to get a campsite in this campground. Thus we were able to choose the one we wanted. We have a 35' rig and wanted a larger level site, which we were able to get. Many of the sites are very difficult to level on and we watched people struggle to get level. Otherwise this was a great site: convenient to the Visitor Center, the trails, the Canyon, the dump and the stores, etc. It is also surrounded by trees which make for a nice natural setting. There is a picnic table at each site. The bathrooms were new and very clean. There were no showers in the campground (you can pay for one near the store) so we could not rate them. Our rate reflects the Senior discount. Very nice National Park campground. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Location, location, location is what this campground has. As noted, the closest, easiest to Bryce Canyon and the place to stay if you want hookups. None of the campgrounds in the park have any hookups. The park is expensive, but that is what the market will easily bear. The campground is well laid out, with ample space between sites. It is nice and dark at night as is appropriate for a park that prides itself for its dark skies. The park is fairly quiet at night, unless you have a couple of big families camping next to you, like we did. However, even that was not too bad. When we made reservations, we were told that we could not reserve a specific site. OK. When we came in they assigned us a site that was very small and close to the next camper. We found an empty site that we liked, so went back to the front desk to change. We were told that the site would not be available for the full five nights that we would be at the CG. When questioned, they said that the site was reserved, even though we were told one could not reserve a specific site. They really need to decide what the policy is and stick to it. However, we did get a very nice site and were happy. We would normally stay in the park campgrounds but wanted hookups for this trip. If wanting hookups,we would definitively stay here again and try to make reservations for our new favorite site. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Ruby's Campground is the only option I'd consider when visiting Bryce. Not all of the amenities were available to us this time of year, but we made use of the pool, restaurant, lodge, and RV service while we were there. Be forewarned, its a very busy area with all kinds of buses and shuttles running, and the pool area and restaurants can get very crowded. Overall this campground has everything you need, and anything you want is within walking distance. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Gravel sites; ours was level. This is the closest RV park to Bryce. Shuttle stop outside starts in May; no need to disconnect. Park is showing its age; sewer connection taped up and picnic table damaged. But, location is everything, and you pay for that. Showers and toilet were clean and hot. Wifi was good close to office. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
