This is a clean, quiet campground. Sites are near level gravel. Each site has a picnic table and shelter. There are lots of small trees, but little shade. Roads are asphalt, adequately wide, in good condition. There are 7 RV-only sites for rigs up to 32 feet, and smaller rigs can fit into some of the other sites. Verizon data service works very well. Potable water is available at the visitor center (max 5 gallons). Generator hours are 8-10 AM and 4-8 PM. Payment is self-registration, cash only. Although the roads within the monument are good, the roads from Highway 262 in Utah to the monument entrance are rough, with potholes, many cattle guards, range cattle, and a short unpaved section. I didn't drive the roads from the Colorado side. We camped here in a Motorhome.
