New and clean and convenient to down town but with several problems. The staff is poorly trained and struggling with the computer. When I needed to stay a few days extra they made me move but the old site was never occupied. Sites are as tight as possible. Don't park your care before your RV or you will have a tough time pulling in. In some sites the highway noise is intolerable. Stay away from the high numbers. It appears to be on fill land and is surrounded by a polluted river and swamps so the bugs are terrible. Worst of all it is in an industrial area surrounded by refineries and chemical plants. Stay away if you have breathing problems or don't like the smell of pollution. North Salt Lake appears to be an environmental disaster. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We had seen some of the comments on this review site about a smell at Pony Express RV Resort so we were reluctant to stop there but I am very glad we did. There was no smell that we could detect. The office says the smell is the Great Salt Lake not the refineries. And when the Lake smells all of Salt Lake notices. This park has a gated entry, young trees and bushes but it is beautifully laid out and when the landscaping matures, it will be shady. The noise from the freeway was tolerable; the individual restrooms with shower and toilet all in your own private room were spotless. There are 10 little cabins on the far West end for those who do not have rigs. The office said they were booking fast for many family reunions this summer. It is easy to see how they could accommodate families, as there are many picnic tables that could be put together for potlucks in the cabin area. We would definitely stay there again as it had all the amenities we enjoy. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice, new park but it has deficiencies. Sewer hookup was poorly located near back edge of site so a very long hose was needed. Wi-Fi was very difficult to connect to. The park is located near freeway exit so there is some traffic noise. Several refineries are nearby so air pollution is a problem. This is an OK overnight stop but not recommended for an extended stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Signage to campground is limited. There is a good area to park and register. Office staff were friendly and efficient. This is a full RV resort with paved roads and concrete pads. There is minimal landscaping. This is the first campground we have been in which price their sites on size. There is some road noise from I215 and airport but a good location for central Salt Lake. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park and is secure. The down side is that it is next to a refinery. The pollution and smell is terrible. We would stay here again for a night or two en route, but that would be enough. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is brand new in North Salt Lake. By far, the nicest one around the area. The office staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't have any problems getting our satellite service to work because there aren't any full grown trees. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This will be a much needed great RV Park in the Salt lake City, UT area, when they get the electrical power problem fixed (50% of the sites are without power). The wifi is very erratic. The signal/connectivity is lost frequently while one is on the Internet. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a well-maintained park. The entrance is gated and sites are large concrete pads with room to park the car beside the motorhome. Each site had a small patch of grass with nice picnic tables. The sewer was located at the back end of the site which required a longer sewer hose. We had no problem getting out with our satellite. They just recently became a Camp Club USA discount park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a great park in an urban setting. The park is new with concrete pads for the RV and tow/towed vehicle and grass between sites. Spacing between sites is good as is access. Maintenance is excellent throughout. People are friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi works well. The only negatives to this park are the occasional sewage smell from a nearby water treatment plant and traffic noise from the interstate. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. Generally speaking, this part of the SLC area is industrial. However, the park sits pretty much by itself, and is subject to some noise from the nearby Interstates. Easy access to freeway & downtown SLC, and a Flying J is just a short drive north of the park. Park itself is new, clean, with several outbuildings with bath/laundries. Park is secure, with coded gate at entrance. Main building has small sundries/groceries shop, pool, and meeting room. Interior roads are very good and RV pads & auto parking are concrete. Modern picnic tables & small lawns separate sites. Park personnel are knowledgeable and very friendly. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is your average stack them as close to possible to each other, This reminded me of a RV sales lot more then a campground. While brand new it lacked the feel of a campround more like a stop off cause you needed to stop We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Great park to stay in the Salt Lake City area. New park and the sites have grass, paved sites, and concrete area for picnic table and grills. We had a pull-through site and it was 80 ft. long. There absoulty was no problem pulling into the site and leaving in the AM. If time allowed, we would have stayed longer. Great park to spend overnight or exploring Salt Lake City. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Newer park, close to all attractions. Perfectly maintained. All sites had a night light,table and grass area. Plenty of room for all size motorhomes. We'd stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

very nice new and clean RV Park not far from downtown Salt Lake City. Just off the I 215. It is new so not many trees, however all concrete pads and asphalt streets. Nice pull thru spaces and very friendly people in the office. The Clubhouse was big with nice facilities for people to use and a business office with printers and computers. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very clean park just North of Salt Lake City. Very convenient to drive down to the city. Rush hour traffic is huge so be prepared. Sites and roads are paved with grass strip down each side. WiFi is usually fast & free. No cable yet. Would return here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice, friendly and knowledgable staff. Lots of freeway noise but inside we didn't hear it at all. No restrictions for washing rig or truck is a nice touch. Mosquitos LOVE the new grass so make sure to spray if going out. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

A very clean, new park. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have lists of local businesses by exit numbers to assist you. Follow the directions on their web site and you will not have a problem finding this park.We have a 41 ft motorcoach and we were in a 60 ft. site that had an additional pad for toad. No shade as the trees are young but immaculately maintained throughout.There is grass on all the lots which has a somewhat cooling affect. The only down side is the laundry which is very well planned out, only has 5 washers and 5 dryers. If you hit it at the wrong time you may have to wait for a machine. The clubhouse is very nice, 2 pool tables and several game tables. The pool and shower areas are immaculate. There is also a computer room with several computers and wifi in the park. We will return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice new park. Not a destination park but was great to stay at while visiting SLC due to the proximity to downtown. Very clean, not too crowded, good store, pool, laundry, etc. The only complaint I would have is in the evening it can get kind of stinky due to the proximity to the North SLC refineries. Only outside though. Inside the coach was fine. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The customer Service in this park is less then be desired, the staff needs more training. This park is beautiful from first glance, however once you get their you have a lovely swamp to kayak on, and when summer sits in you will have plenty of bugs to pick you up and take you away. This park was not for me and that is why we left. We camped here in a Motorhome.

As others have said, this is a brand new park. They have various sized sites, which is good - under 40', 40', 60'. Different prices for each - I like this; big rigs pay more, which is okay. Good points: no tall trees yet so the satellites work, paved roads, concrete sites, sites at a diagonal, space for a toad, a nice play area for kids away from the sites, close to the freeways (the park, not the play area). Bad points: close to the freeways, sites slope at the ends - some jacks are way up; roads are narrow - in a brand new park this is a disgrace. Another foot wider would have made turns easier. The 40' site is barely that - we have a 40' MH and it hangs out at both ends. Would another foot have hurt? Next time we will go for a 60' site! The front desk people are nice, but need some more training on dealing with customers, the equipment & the computers. The clubhouse is immaculate and friendly. There are at least a couple of outlying restrooms - didn't check them out. We were told the workers will mostly be leaving the end of the month. The placement of the power pedestals is a problem - they are way forward in the site, more than halfway to the front - our power cord had to stretch. The neighbors almost couldn't open their slide - there was a 2" clearance over the top of the pedestal. So, will we stay here again? Probably, because they don't have the trees the KOA has, but KOA is lots closer to the genealogy library. There is no shuttle or bus into town from here yet. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I would definitely not recommend this park to any weary travellers. It is set between two freeways and construction of new freeways. There were a lot of workers in the park that start to leave for work at 4:30am with noisy trucks and there was constant traffic noise from the freeways all night. Internet does not work all over the park and the cable was not clear reception, and no help from the staff as to why except to tell me it was my problem. Definitely not a relaxing place to be. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice, new park that is just far enough out of the city, yet close enough to be just a 10 minute drive to downtown Salt Lake. The sites are plenty wide, with concrete pads with an additional adjacent concrete area for car parking. The people are very nice, friendly and helpful. The showers/restrooms are the nicest I have ever seen in an RV park - each room is a separate bathroom, with toilet, sink and shower. There is a great lounge in the main building, with pool tables and a large screen TV, and big comfy sofas. There is grass between each site, and a table at each site. We did not use the pool, as it was closed for the season, but it looked nice. The only thing that might pose a problem is that it is quite near a refinery. Although we could see it, we did not notice any objectionably odors coming from it, although if the wind were blowing the wrong way, I think you might. If you ignore the refinery, the views were beautiful - mountains on 3 sides. I would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Pony Express is exactly what we have been looking for - A superb, brand new Resort in Salt Lake! They have just opened up as of a few weeks ago, and I can tell you this is one special place. Great layout, and really designed for big rig navigation. Great value, great location. Close to everything, but just remote enough not to get swallowed up by the big city. Highest recommendation for Pony Express! We camped here in a Motorhome.
