This park is basic, but it provided what we needed for the night. We had a perfect spot to park for ease of in and out, and all the services we wanted were available. It provided a literal "port in the storm". This is an over-nighter kind of place. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We did not feel comfortable here. Not clean. Across the street from what looked like a juvenile detention facility (barbed fence and orange jump suits). Dog waste all around. Homeless cats and a diseased kitten roaming around. Unattended dogs at the long term trailers. Bad signage. We would not reccommend. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Park is for hunters in pickup truck campers or trailers only. LOW CLEARANCE; 12 foot due to electrical and TV cable lines. Restaurant is closed. Dogs are kept kenneled in empty trailers. Dog waste everywhere. Low voltage 113-105. Signs are faded as to entrance. Driveway steep off Main St.; better to enter off side street. Quiet neighborhood. Sites are short. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
If you need a place for one night, this place will do. It’s located far enough off the road so there is very little traffic noise. GPS worked well for directions using the address, 492 North Main Parowan UT. A limited number of pull thru sites only have 30 amps, with full hook ups and good cable TV with gravel that needs to be graded, which the owner said he was working on. 50 amps is only available on the back in sites with the power pedestals located near the front of the site. There are a few trees but satellite TV should be no problem. Verizon cell and 3G worked well. RV length should be limited to 40 feet due to the length of the pull thru and back in sites unless you unhook. Checking in was strange, you go to the back door of the restaurant, look for the notebook paper sign on the door. It looks like the restaurant is closed. When arriving here, pull in on the north side of the restaurant and park next to it. There are some resident trailers and about 10 sites for over nighters. There is a restroom and shower but did not go inside. The owner was real nice and friendly. He said he was getting Wi-Fi. We had no problems entering or exiting the park. This is a no frills park, good for one night and we did feel safe. There is a Travel America fuel stop right across the interstate. We would stay here again in pull thru site 1A. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
