Oak Creek campground is a National Forest Service campground at 9600 feet in a beautiful Aspen forest. It has just a few sites and they are first come, first served. The campground host, is pleasant and helpful and his dog, Sweetie is just that! The sites are small and turn around is difficult for a 29 ft motorhome but it was well worth it. A quiet, pristine camping experience. The pit toilets were exceptionally clean. There is no Wi-Fi and no 3G -- what a great escape from the desert heat! We camped here in a Motorhome.
Beautiful little campground with great looking group sites. We did not know anything about it, but found it on an obscure Utah map. Reservations can be made. Great views and a little creek running through the campground. Many other like campgrounds in the area between Torrey and Boulder. We camped here in a Motorhome.
